OBJECTIVE:To analyze the clinical experience and medication rules of Professor Chao Enxiang in treating interstitial lung disease by data mining technology.METHODS:Patients with interstitial lung disease who had been treated by Professor Chao Enxiang from July 2015 to July 2018 were included.Collect general information,imaging data,four diagnostic information,Chinese medicine diagnosis,syndrome type,rule and treatment of the included 136 patients.Prescription information was derived from HIS system of the hospital.The data were filtered and marked by EXCEL and its VBA programming to establish the clinical database,and then the frequency of classification of traditional Chinese medicine,four gas and five flavors of drugs,and the combination of prescriptions and neonatal conbinations was analyzed.SPSS Clementine 12.0 was used for association analysis,clustering analysis and sequential pattern mining.The obtained data were displayed by Cytoscape on the network.Using network pharmacological methods to explore the possible mechanism of the core drugs and the basic combination.Results:The proportion of male and female patients was more than 2:1.The average age of the patients was 66.7 years,ranging from 43 to 98 years.Frequency statistics showed that the most commonly used Chinese medicines except liquorice included schisandra chinensis,polygonatum,radix pseudostellariae,ophiopogon japonicus,cornus officinalis,pberetima,gingko seed and perilla frutescens.In terms of efficacy classification,antipyretic and antitussive drugs,cough and antiasthmatic drugs,and qi-tonic drugs contained more types of drugs than others,and the most frequently used were antitussive and antiasthmatic drugs,qi-tonic drugs and yin-tonic drugs;In terms of four gas,the most frequently used drugs were mild drugs,and the cold drugs equal to the warm one.In terms of the five flavors,sweet drugs and bitter drugs are most frequently used,followed by sour and astringent taste.most drugs can be attributed to the lung meridian,followed by the spleen meridian,stomach meridian,heart meridian,liver meridian and kidney meridian.TWO-STEP method was used to cluster the drugs of all prescription,and the composition of each cluster was analyzed then.It was found that there were some differences among the clusters.Association rule analysis showed that the most commonly used traditional Chinese medicine for nourishing Yin,invigorating Qi and solidifying herbs such as Radix Pseudostellariae,Radix Ophiopogonis,Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis,Polygonatum Polygonatum,Cornus officinalis often appeared together,masking other association rules.Through filtering and screening,some other high frequency drug combinations were found,such as Perilla seed and Ginkgo seed,Pberetima and Ginkgo seed,Rhizoma.Atractylodis and Magnolia bark,Cicada molt and Situation with other drugs having ntitussive,eliminating phlegm and antiasthmatic effects.Cytoscape was used to display the net of the rules.It was found that 10 traditional Chinese medicines,such as Schisandra chinensis,Polygonatum,Radix Pseudostellariae,Ophiopogon japonicus,Cornus officinalis,Earthworm,Fructus almond,Perilla thunbergii and so on,were more core in the net Meanwhile,the combination of Radix Pseudostellariae,Fructus Schisandrae,Polygonatum,Cornus officinalis as basic drugs was determined.Visited TCMSP to get their ingredients,targets,diseases and network relationship.CONCLUSION:According to the data mining results,Professor Chao Enxiang's treatment of interstitial lung disease is mainly composed of Yin-ourishing Qi-guben drug combination and cough-relieving,phlegm-relieving and Asthma-relieving drugs.The most commonly used drugs include Schisandra chinensis,Rhizoma Polygonatum,Radix Pseudostellariae,Ophiopogon japonicus,Cornus offcinalis,Pberetima,Fructus Perillae,Almond and Fritillaria thunbergii,which reflect the Yin-nourishing Clinical thinking of Professor Chao using to treat the interstitial lung disease.
