Objective:To observe the curative effect of abdominal acupuncture combined with auricular acupoint sticking on improving dysmenorrhea symptoms and pain intensity of primary dysmenorrhea, analyze the changes of therapeutic effect before and after treatment and during follow-up period, evaluate the clinical curative effect of abdominal acupuncture combined with auricular acupoint sticking on primary dysmenorrhea, and provide clinical basis for the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea in clinic. Methods:From December 2017 to December 2018,65 subjects from the Department of Acupuncture and Moxibustion,Department of Gynecology,Dongzhimen Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and those recruited through posters were randomly divided into two groups,32 in treatment group,33 in control group. The treatment group was treated with abdominal acupuncture combined with auricular acupoint sticking, while the control group was treated with ibuprofen sustained-release capsule orally. Each course of treatment started seven days before menstruation, once a day, seven times as a course of treatment. After the end of the first course of treatment, rest until the second course of treatment for the next menstrual onset, followed by analogy,a total of three courses of treatment. The treatment group also cooperated with auricular acupoint sticking, which started 7 days before menstruation, unilateral auricular acupoint sticking, alternating two ears, once every 3 days.Oral ibuprofen sustained-release capsules were administered at the onset of menstrual dysmenorrhea and stopped until the pain disappeared.A total of 3 menstrual cycles were treated. Two groups of patients before treatment,2 courses after treatment,3 courses after treatment and follow-up to fill in the dysmenorrhea symptoms scale and pain visual simulation scale, after 2 courses and 3 courses of treatment to calculate the total effective rate.By comparing the changes of dysmenorrhea symptom score and VAS score within and between the two groups, the difference of effective rate between the two groups was summarized and analyzed the clinical efficacy of abdominal acupuncture combined with auricular acupoint sticking in the treatment of primary dysmenorrheaResultIn this clinical study,60 of 65 patients completed the whole course of treatment and follow-up,30 in the treatment group and 30 in the control group. The data of follow-up before admission,2 courses after treatment,3 courses after treatment and 3 months after treatment were analyzed.1.Relevant Observed Indicators(1)Dysmenorrhea Symptom ScoreThe treatment group after2 courses,3 courses,follow-up and pre-treatment,3 courses and 2 courses after treatment,follow-up and 3 courses after treatment, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Research showed that abdominal acupuncture combined with auricular acupoint sticking had significant effect in improving the score of dysmenorrhea symptoms;three courses of treatment was better than two courses of treatment in reducing the score of dysmenorrhea symptoms;the score of dysmenorrhea symptoms increased after follow-up compared with three courses, indicating that abdominal acupuncture combined with auricular acupoint sticking therapy had a long-term effect on improving the score of dysmenorrhea symptoms, but its effect was lower than that after the completion of treatment. The control group after 2 courses,3 courses and before treatment,follow-up and after 3 courses, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);follow-up and before treatment, after 3 courses and after 2 courses, the differences were not statistically significant. The results showed that oral ibuprofen sustained-release capsule had significant effect in improving the score of dysmenorrhea symptoms;there was no significant difference between two and three courses in reducing the score of dysmenorrhea symptoms;and the long-term effect of oral ibuprofen sustained-release capsule in improving the score of dysmenorrhea symptoms was not obvious. There was significant difference between the treatment group and the control group after two courses(P<0.05),and the control group was better than the treatment group;there was no significant difference after three courses, indicating that the treatment group and the control group had the same effect in improving dysmenorrhea symptom score;there was significant difference during follow-up(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group, indicating that the long-term treatment effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.(2)Visual Analogue Score(VAS)The treatment group after 2 courses,3 courses,follow-up and pre-treatment,3 courses and 2 courses after treatment,follow-up and 3 courses after treatment, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The results showed that abdominal acupuncture combined with auricular acupoint sticking therapy could significantly improve the VAS score of primary dysmenorrhea;three courses of treatment was better than t-wo courses of treatment in reducing VAS score;the VAS score increased after follow-up compared with three courses, indicating that abdominal acupuncture combined with auricular acupoint sticking therapy had a long-term effect on improving VAS score of primary dysmenorrhea, but its effect was lower than that after the completion of treatment? The control group after 2 courses,3 courses and before treatment,follow-up and after 3 courses, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);follow-up and before treatment, after 3 courses and after 2 courses, the differences were not statistically significant. The results showed that oral ibuprofen sustained-release capsule had significant effect on improving VAS score in treating primary dysmenorrhea;there was no significant difference between two and three courses in reducing VAS score;and the long-term effect of oral ibuprofen sustained-release capsule on improving VAS score was not obvious. After two courses of treatment, the difference between the treatment group and the control group was significant(P<0.05),the control group was better than the treatment group;after three courses of treatment, there was no significant difference, indicating that the treatment group and the control group had the same effect in reducing VAS score;during follow-up,the difference was significant(P<0.05),the treatment group was better than the control group, indicating that the long-term treatment effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.2.Evaluation of Curative EffectAfter 2 months of treatment, the total effective rate was 60%,the cure rate was 6.67%,the marked effective rate was 20%,the effective rate was 33.3%,and the ineffective rate was 40%.In the control group, the total effective rate was 73.3%,the cure rate was 10%,the marked effective rate was 33.3%,the effective rate was 30%,and the ineffective rate was 26.7%.There was no statistical difference between the two groups(P>0.05).After 3 months of treatment, the total effective rate was 80%,the cure rate was 20%,the marked effective rate was 23.3%,the effective rate was 36.7%,and the ineffective rate was 20%.In the control group, the total effective rate was 76.7%,the cure rate was 13.3%,the marked effective rate was 30%,the effective rate was 33.3%,and the ineffective rate was 23.3%.There was no statistical difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Abdominal acupuncture combined with auricular acupoint sticking therapy has a significant clinical effect on primary dysmenorrhea, and has a better long-term therapeutic effect. It can improve dysmenorrhea symptoms and reduce the severity of dysmenorrhea in patients with dysmenorrhea.Using this therapy to treat primary dysmenorrhea for 3 courses can achieve a better effect.
