Observation Of The Clinical Efficacy Of Seven-thread Neck Therapy In The Treatment Of Sensorineural Hearing Loss

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effect and mechanism of neck acupuncture with seven lines in the treatment of sensorineural deafness.To provide effective methods of the clinical treatment of sudden deafness,and give theoretical evidence for further appling and spreading the neck acupuncture with seven lines in clinic.Methods45 sensorineural deafness patients which begin with sudden deafness are selected from the clinic of the Dongzhimen Hospital from April 2018 to February 2019 and randomly divided into two groups:observation on treatment group(neck acupuncture with seven lines group)where there are 25 cases and the control treatment group(the common acupuncture group)where there are 20 cases.All the patients routinely taked the Mikebao drug three times a day for 6 weeks with 0.5 mg at a time.On the basis of drug therapy,the observation group was treated by neck acupuncture with seven lines in combination with infrared irradiation.Main acupoint are selected from the seven lines on neck with two acupoints of each line.The neck seven-line method specifically refers to the line:the first line is the posterior midline of neck(DU),Dazhui,Fengfu were selected;the second and the third line are the bilateral Jiaji line(1.5cun from the posterior midline of neck),the third and the fourth Jiaji points were selected;the fourth and fifth lines are the first lines of the bilateral Bladder Meridian of Foot-Taiyang(the bilateral trapezius muscle of the vertical uplift),select the point which is in the midpoint of Fengchi and Gongxue and the point 1.5 cun below this point.The sixth and the seventh lines are the bilateral gall bladder Meridian of Foot-Shaoyang(the line downward bilateral Fengchi),acupoint selection:Fengchi,Gongxue.Combined with the local acupoint Yifeng and Tinggong in ipsilateral side.According to TCM syndrome differentiation,Waiguan and Hegu were added to the patients who had exogenous pathogenic factors of wind evil,Taichong and Qiuxu were added to the patients who had hyperpyrexia of liver syndrome or Hyperactivity of liver-yang,Qihai and Xuehai were added to the patients who had Qi stagnation and blood stasis,Zusanli and Qihai were added to the patients who had Deficiency of Qi and blood loss.All the acupoints were used routine acupuncture methods.The control treatment group(the common acupuncture group)was treated by common acupuncture on the basis of drug therapy.Main acupoints are Tinggong and Yifeng of ipsilateral side and Zhongzhu,Xiaxi,Xingjian,Zuqiaoyin of bilateral side.The control treatment group had the same ways to select adjunct acupuncture points according to TCM syndrome differentiation and the same acupuncture method.Both of the groups were treated by acupuncture every other day(3 times a week)for 6 weeks.All patients of the two groups got pure tone audiometry for evaluating the patients' condition and the effect of the treatment and collected 2 ml venous blood to assay serum ET and NO,evaluating the effect on vascular tension of different treatments by the changes of the content before and after 6 weeks'treatment.All patients receive the test of ill ears,accompanied symptoms scale and Hamilton Anxiety Scale before and after 6 weeks' treatment to observe the effect on the patients'life-quality and mental state of different treatments.Results1.Neck acupuncture with seven lines treatment can remarkably improve the listening level of sensorineural deafness patients(P<0.05),and the patients who are less than 40 years old have better listening level than the patients who are over 40(P<0.05).It can be proved that the treatment effiency of the neck acupuncture with seven lines group is better than the common acupuncture group,especially with the patients who are less than 40;2.Before and after the two treatments,the content of serum ET and NO shows no obvious difference(P>0.05),so this study can't prove that the effiency of the neck acupuncture with seven lines treatment of deafness is worked by regulating the vascular tension to improve blood-supply of the inner ear;3.Both of the two treatments can obviously reduce the score of tinnitus and aural fullness and obviously improve accompanied symptoms like initability,insomnia,dry mouth and bitter taste and so on(P<0.05).Neck acupuncture with seven lines treatment shows greater improvement on the score of deafness(P<0.05).4.Both of the two treatments can obviously reduce the score of Hamilton Anxiety Scale(P<0.05),relieving the anxiety of deafness patients so that the mental state can be increased.ConclusionsNeck acupuncture with seven lines treatment can obviously improve the listening level of sensorineural deafness patients,especially with the patients who are less than 40.And the symptoms like alleviate tinnitus and aural fullness can be obviously relieved.Other accompanied symptoms and the anxiety state can be improved.The operation of this treatment is easy and convenient and has great repeatability,which worth appling and spreading in clinic,while its mechanism of curing sensorineural deafness patients which begin with sudden deafness needs further exploration.
