| OBJECTIVE:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Chaihu Yinqiao Decoction in the treatment of subacute thyroiditis with heat and toxic sputum,and to provide new treatment ideas for prevention and treatment of subacute thyroiditis by traditional Chinese medicine.METHODS:A retrospective study method was adopted.According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,patients with subacute thyroiditis who were clinically diagnosed by the Department of Endocrinology,Oriental Hospital of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were divided into Chinese medicine group and western medicine group according to whether the patients received Chinese medicine treatment.The Chinese medicine group took the tutor.Self-made experience Fangchai Hu Yinqiao Tang(basic composition:Bupleurum,Poria,Honeysuckle,Forsythia,etc.),Western medicine group according to Western medical practices to give standardized treatment.The patient information of the two groups was collected by means of telephone review.The records were recorded in the TCM clinical symptom quantitative score questionnaire prepared before and after treatment,and 8 weeks was used as a course of treatment.The collected data were checked and data was established.Baseline and analysis of the characteristics of the two groups of patients,before and after treatment,the two groups were evaluated for TCM symptoms,signs and related laboratory tests,including thyroid function(TSH,FT3,FT4),ESR,and recorded adverse events during treatment.Reaction,and recurrence rate after stopping the drug.All data were statistically analyzed using SPSS 20.0 software.RESULTS:1.The curative effect of the disease:25 cases were included in the Chinese medicine group,including 19 cases of clinical cure,3 cases of marked effect,2 cases of effective,1 case of ineffectiveness,total effective rate was 96.00%;23 cases of western medicine group,14 cases of clinical cure,markedly effective 5 For example,2 cases are effective and 2 cases are invalid.The total effective rate is 91.30%.After statistical analysis,there was no significant difference in the curative effect between the two groups(P>0.05).2.TCM syndrome efficacy:25 cases of traditional Chinese medicine group,of which 20 cases were cured,4 cases were markedly effective,1 case was effective,0 cases were ineffective,the total effective rate was 100%;23 cases were in western medicine group,of which 15 cases were cured and 4 cases were markedly effective.3 cases,1 case was invalid,and the total effective rate was 95.65%.After statistical analysis,there was no significant difference in the efficacy of TCM syndrome between the two groups(P>0.05).3.TCM syndrome scores:There was no significant difference in TCM syndrome scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,the symptoms and signs of the two groups were significantly improved(P<0.01).The two groups of treatments were effective in improving TCM syndromes,and the TCM syndrome scores in the group after treatment were compared(P<0.05).The difference was statistically significant,indicating that the TCM group was better than the Western medicine group in improving TCM syndrome scores.4.Single symptoms and signs:before treatment,the symptoms and signs of the two groups of patients were not statistically significant(P>0.05);after treatment,the symptoms and signs were improved compared with before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),In the improvement of thyroid pain,sweating,limb tremor,fatigue,palpitation,sore throat,headache,the Chinese medicine group was superior to the western medicine group(P<0.05),and there was no difference between the remaining symptoms and signs(P>0.05).5.Thyroid function:There was no significant difference in serum thyroid function(FT3,FT4,TSH)between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,FT3 and FT4 were lower than before treatment,and TSH was compared with before treatment.There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating that both treatments can improve thyroid function,and the curative effect is equivalent.6.ESR:There was no significant difference in erythrocyte sedimentation rate between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).The erythrocyte sedimentation rate was significantly improved after treatment(P<0.01),and there was no statistical difference between the two groups after treatment.Significance(P>0.05),indicating that both groups of treatment can improve the level of erythrocyte sedimentation,and the effect is equivalent.7.Incidence of adverse reactions:There were no significant differences in blood routine,liver and kidney function between the two groups before and after treatment,and within the normal range,there were 2 mild adverse reactions in the western medicine group.There were no adverse drug reactions in the Chinese medicine group.8.Recurrence rate:The recurrence rate of the two groups was compared.In the western medicine group,4 cases showed repeated disease after stopping the drug.After continued treatment,the symptoms were relieved.The Chinese medicine group did not see recurrence after treatment and withdrawal.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant.(P<0.05),indicating that Chinese medicine treatment of methylene inflammation has an advantage over western medicine in reducing the recurrence rate.CONCLUSIONS:1.Clinical research results show that the addition and subtraction of Chaihu Yinqiao Decoction can significantly improve the symptoms of TCM,especially in improving thyroid pain,sweating,limb tremor,fatigue,palpitation,sore throat,The effect of headache symptoms is significant,and the recurrence rate is low,which can alleviate the patient's pain and improve the quality of life;2.Bupleurum Yinqiao Decoction for the treatment of subacute thyroiditis,can significantly improve thyroid function and erythrocyte sedimentation rate;3.Chaihu Yinqiao Decoction for the treatment of subacute thyroiditis,safe and no toxic side effects,compared with Western medicine treatment has obvious advantages,it is worth further clinical application. |
