Objective: To investigate the effect of spleen-kidney prescription on immune function in patients with spleen and kidney deficiency syndrome after chemotherapy for colorectal cancer. Methods: 42 patients with colorectal cancer who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups, including 21 patients in the treatment group and 21 patients in the control group.FOLFOX6 was used for treatment in both groups, and the treatment group was given spleen-kidney prescription on the basis of the control group. The changes of immune indexes(CD3,CD4,CD8 and CD4/CD8 ratio),TCM clinical syndrome score and quality of life during the treatment were observed after 4 courses of treatment in both groups.Results:(1)Immune index:(1)Before treatment, there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in the ratio of CD3,CD4,CD8 and CD4/CD8(P > 0.05).(2)In the second cycle, compared with the pre-treatment group, the values of CD3,CD4 and CD4/CD8 in the treatment group decreased slightly, while the values of CD8 increased slightly, with no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).The values of CD3,CD4 and CD4/CD8 in the control group were decreased, while the values of CD8 were increased, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)In the fourth cycle, compared with the pre-treatment group, the values of CD3,CD4 and CD4/CD8 in the treatment group were decreased, while the values of CD8 were increased, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the control group,CD3 and CD4 values and CD4/CD8 ratio were significantly decreased, while CD8 values were significantly increased(P<0.05).(4)The CD3,CD4 and CD4/CD8 ratios in the treatment group were slightly decreased and CD8 values were slightly increased in the treatment group compared with the treatment group in the second cycle(P>0.05).The value of CD4 and CD4/CD8 in the control group decreased, while the value of CD8 increased. The t-test showed that the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The CD3 value in the control group was slightly decreased, and the t-test showed that the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).(5)In the second cycle and the fourth cycle, the values of CD3,CD4 and CD4/CD8 in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group, and the values of CD8 in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).(2)TCM clinical symptoms: After the end of treatment, the improvement of TCM clinical symptoms in the treatment group was better than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(3)Quality of life: After the end of treatment, the two groups were compared, the treatment group had a higher cargill score than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion: Spleen-kidney formula can improve the immune function of patients with spleen-kidney deficiency syndrome after chemotherapy for colorectal cancer, and improve the clinical symptoms and quality of life of patients with colorectal cancer during chemotherapy. |
