Objective: To observe the clinical effect of abdominal acupuncture on constipation after ischemic stroke.Methods:49 patients with constipation after ischemic stroke were enrolled and included in the treatment group and the control group. The treatment group was combined with abdominal acupuncture therapy and the control group combined with lactulose in the basic treatment. The two groups were treated for 6 days as a course of treatment and 2 courses of clinical treatment.Cleveland Constipation Score,Bristol Stool Form Scale,China Stroke Scale,Montreal Cognitive Assessment Score and total effective rate were compared before treatment, after the first course of treatment, and after the second course of treatment.Result:1.The two groups of the Cleveland Constipation Scores were lower before and after treatment, but there was a significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05),indicating that both groups could improve constipation symptoms, but the treatment group was better than the control group in promoting intestinal function.2.The two groups compared with before and after treatment,Bristol Stool Form Scale improved significantly(P<0.01),but there was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.01),indicating that both groups could improve feces, but the treatment group was better than the control group in improving intestinal water re-absorption.3.The China Stroke Scale scores were lower in the two groups before and after treatment, but the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.01),indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group for the repair of neurological deficits.4.The Montreal Cognitive Assessment scores were higher in the two groups before and after treatment, but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating that both groups can improve cognitive dysfunction, and the cognitive function of the two groups improved.quite;5.The total effective rate was 91.30% in the treatment group and 86.96% in the control group. There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating that the two groups had the same overall effect. Conclusion:Abdominal acupuncture is similar to lactulose in the treatment of constipation in patients with ischemic stroke. However, abdominal acupuncture is superior to lactulose in improving the onset time of constipation, improving stool traits and promoting the repair of neurological deficits.,and the curative effect is certain and worthy of clinical promotion.
