Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Dry Eye Syndrome Of Deficiency Of Lung Yin With Oral Administration Of Runmu Shengjin Decoction And Fumigation

Purpose:To observe the clinical efficacy of Runmu Shengjin Decoction combined with fumigation in the treatment of dry eye syndrome of lung yin deficiency,and to find out the more economical,applicable and effective method for the diagnosis and treatment of dry eye syndrome.Method:In this study,60 patients with clinically consistent dry eye syndrome of lung-yin deficiency were randomly divided into two groups: the treatment group(Runmu Shengjin Decoction plus eye fumigation plus polyvinyl alcohol eye drops)and the control group(poly Vinyl alcohol eye drops),8 days for a course of treatment,rest for 2 days after each treatment,a total of 3 courses,comparing the Western medicine symptom score,BUT value,SIT value before and after treatment changes.Results:The total effective rates of the treatment group and the control group were respectively 90% and 70%,and there were significant differences in the improvement of symptoms between the two groups(P < 0.05).The therapeutic effect of Runmu Shengjin Decoction combined with fumigation was better than that of the polyvinyl alcohol eye drops group.Both groups had significant effects in extending tear film rupture time(BUT)and increasing tear secretion(P < 0.05),BUT the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was significantl y better than that of the control group,and the study showed that the treatment group also had a certain effect on patients with dry stools(P < 0.05).Conclusion:Compared with the control group with polyvinyl alcohol eye drops,the treatment group with Runmu Shengjin Decoction and eye fumigation had significant effect.The patient can obviously feel a series of symptoms such as dry eyes,blurred vision,discomfort,photophobia,etc.,and can prolong the tear film break time(BUT),increase the amount of tear secretion,and improve the symptoms of dry stool in patients.
