Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Yin Deficiency Desiccant Heat Type Diabetic Dry Eye Syndrome By Aerosol Fumigation With RunJing Mingmu Decoction

Objective: To observe the efficacy and safety of Runjing Mingmu decoction atomization fumigation in the treatment of Yin deficiency desiccant heat type diabetic dry eye syndrome.Methods: Using the random number table method,72 patients with diabetic dry eye who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were randomly divided into 36 patients in the control group and 36 patients in the treatment group.The control group was given basic treatment with atomization fumigation of ocular oxygen movement(distilled water injection),and the treatment group was given basic treatment with atomization fumigation of ocular oxygen movement(Runjing Mingmu decoction).Both groups were treated once a day for 2 weeks.Before and after treatment,Schtear secretion test(SIT),corneal sensation test,ocular surface disease index(OSDI)and TCM syndrome score were evaluated to determine the clinical efficacy.The data were statistically analyzed by SPSS 26.0.Results:(1)After treatment,by comparing the SIT,corneal sensation test,OSDI score and total TCM syndrome score of the two groups after treatment,it was found that the tear secretion volume of the two groups after treatment was higher than that before treatment,the corneal sensation was more sensitive than before treatment,the total OSDI score was decreased than that before treatment,and the total TCM syndrome score and each single score were decreased than that before treatment.The differences of SIT,corneal sensation test,OSDI score and TCM syndrome score between the two groups before and after treatment were compared.It was found that the treatment group was better than the control group in prolonging tear secretion time,increasing corneal sensitivity,reducing OSDI score,improving symptoms and signs,and the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05).(2)The efficacy index of the treatment group was88.57%.The curative effect index of the control group was 67.65%.The efficacy index of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Adverse reactions: There were no drug allergy ioccurred in the two groups during the treatment.Conclusions:The atomization fumigation of Runjing Mingmu decoction has a significant clinical effect on dry eye syndrome of Yin deficiency and dryness heat type diabetes.
