Clinical Study Of Zhenshi Chuanhai Decoction In The Treatment Of Acute Gouty Arthritis Of Damp-heat Accumulation Type

ObjectiveThe research is to observe the clinical efficacy of Zhen Shi Chuan Hai Tang(ZSCHT)combining with etoricoxib on the acut gouty arthritis of patients with damp-heat accumulation type based on previous studies on traditional Chinese and western medicine diagnosis,and to find out the influence of ZSCHT on the C-reactive protein(CRP),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),serum uric acid(SUA),white blood cell(WBC).It will provide the basis for the better treatment for acute gouty arthritis and promote the inheritance and transformation of the traditional Chinese medicine experience.MethodThe patients accepted treatment at the Zhen Shi Za Bing Sect Outpatient Clinic of the the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of TCM from Oct.2016 to Mar.2017 were selected as the research object.The patients corresponding to diagnosis standards were randomly divided into etoricoxib group and TCM + etoricoxib group.The etoricoxib group was treated by the diet control and etoricoxib,while the TCM + etoricoxib group was treated by the ZSCHT on the basis of the diet control and etoricoxib.The therapeutic effects of TCM + etoricoxib on treatment of damp-heat accumulation type acut gouty arthritis were discussed through comparing the Likert score,TCM syndrome score,WBC,CRP,ESR,SUA of two groups.ResultThere were 32 cases included(15 cases in the etoricoxib group,the same as TCM + etoricoxib group)with 2 cases were exclude for losing to follow-up.1.Basic conditionsTwo individual samples were selected for t test.Among the 30 cases,the age,stature,course of disease between two groups before the intervention shows that the difference was no statistically significant.(P>0.05)2.Research results of the therapeutic effects after treatmentThe differences on Likert scores,TCM syndrome score,WBC,ESR,SUA of both groups are of statistical significance(P<0.05).3.In the process of study,no adverse events occurred in the given indicators before and after treatment in two groups of renal function.It shows that ZSCHT combined with etoricoxib in the treatment of acute gouty arthritis are of good safety.Conclusion1.Etoricoxib group can significantly effect the damp-heat accumulation type acut gouty arthritis,the same as ZSCHT combining with etoricoxib group.2.The effect of ZSCHT combining with etoricoxib on the damp-heat accumulation type acut gouty is superior to that of single etoricoxib therapy.The experimental group can significantly improve Likert scores,TCM syndrome score,WBC,ESR,SUA,clinical symptoms.The result showed the ZSCHT has clinical curative effect on the damp-heat accumulation type acut gouty.And the safety of the treatment is good and no side effects.
