Research On The Coupling And Coordination Relationship Between Urbanization And Intensive Use Of Cultivated Land In Shandong Province

Urbanization is the inevitable outcome of the development of human society and the inevitable trend of world development.The development of cities and towns plays an important role in the progress of human history.Cultivated land is the material basis and condition for human survival.It is a rare and precious resource necessary for productive activities.Handling the relationship between urbanization and cultivated land plays an important role in the intensive utilization of cultivated land and the coordinated development of urbanization.There are many studies on the relationship between urban land intensive use and urbanization.However,the study on the relationship between urbanization and intensive utilization of cultivated land is not perfect.Therefore,the study of the relationship between urbanization and intensive use of cultivated land in Shandong Province is helpful to clarify the relationship between urbanization and intensive use of cultivated land.The present situation of intensive use of farmland and the status of coupling and coordination will help to promote sustainable and coordinated development of urbanization and intensive use of cultivated land in Shandong province.It has important theoretical and guiding significance for setting up a correct development view and formulating relevant policies.On the basis of probing into the concepts of urbanization,intensive utilization of cultivated land,coupling degree of coordination,and the related theories of urbanization and intensive utilization of cultivated land,this paper analyzes the present situation of urbanization and intensive utilization of cultivated land in Shandong Province.Based on the relevant statistical data,it follows the principles of comprehensiveness and representativeness,maneuverability,dynamics,independence and so on.Constructing the evaluation index system of urbanization level and the evaluation index system of cultivated land intensive utilization,and using the integrated level index model,coupled with coordinated development degree model,using the Excel,SPSS and ArcGIS software.Study on the Coupling between urbanization and intensive Utilization of cultivated Land in Shandong Province from 2001 to 2015 This paper selects 2014 as the time node to explore the coupling and coordination relationship and spatial difference between urbanization and intensive utilization of cultivated land in 17 cities of Shandong Province and analyzes the influencing factors.The conclusion is as follows:(1)The urbanization and intensive use of cultivated land in Shandong Province increased rapidly from 2001 to 2015,and has been showing a rising trend.(2)In 2014,the spatial difference between urbanization level and cultivated land intensive utilization level in 17 cities of Shandong Province was obvious.The excellent areas ofurbanization development and the better areas of urbanization development are mainly distributed in the blue economic zone of Shandong Peninsula,led by Qingdao City,and in the economic circle of provincial capital agglomeration with Jinan as the core.(3)Coupling between urbanization and intensive Utilization of cultivated Land in Shandong Province from 2001 to2015 The coincident degree has experienced two stages of low level coupling and antagonism,and has the tendency of keeping steady development;The degree of coordination has steadily increased from 2001-2015.High and low degree of coupling and coordination.(4)The overall characteristics of the regional differences in the degree of coordinated development between urbanization and cultivated land intensive utilization in Shandong Province are as follows: the eastern and western regions are higher than the central regions in the east-west direction;In the north and south direction,the northern area of Liaocheng-Qingdao city is higher than that in the south area.(5)Through grey relation analysis,it is concluded that the urbanization of Shandong Province has a great influence on the intensive utilization of cultivated land,and the most important influence is the land.The level of urbanization,followed by the level of population urbanization,the intensive use of cultivated land has a great impact on urbanization,in which cultivated land output intensity is the biggest,followed by cultivated land input intensity.Finally,through the empirical analysis of the coupling coordination relationship between urbanization and cultivated land intensive utilization in Shandong Province,combined with the current situation of the coupling coordination relationship between urbanization and cultivated land intensive utilization in 17 cities,the level of urbanization in Shandong Province is improved.Suggestions are made on improving intensive utilization of cultivated land and promoting coordinated development of urbanization and intensive utilization of cultivated land.
