With the rapid development of new urbanization, the demand of construction land increases year by year, and the pressure of non-agriculturalization of cultivated land becomes increasingly prominent. As a result, the current social and economic development and the sustainable use of cultivated land resources are not coordinated.According to the major development strategies of the country’s "Rise of Central Plains","Central Plains City Group","National Grain Production Core Area",Henan Province shoulders the heavy responsibility of safeguarding national food security and shoulders the important mission of building a well-off society in an all-round way.Taking Henan Province as an example, this paper uses cluster analysis, entropy method and ArcGIS software to qualitatively and quantitatively analyze the social and economic development data and land use data of Henan Province from 2006 to 2016,and summarize the spatial and temporal evolution characteristics of non-agricultural pressure and new urbanization development in various cities of Henan Province. In this paper, the coupling coordination degree model is used to analyze the coordination relationship between the non-agricultural pressure of cultivated land and the new urbanization, and the spatial distribution of coupling coordination degree is obtained. At the same time, the center of gravity model and the center of gravity migration distance measurement model are introduced to calculate the coupled coordinate center of gravity coordinates and migration distance in the research period of Henan Province. Therefore, the optimal path for the coordinated development of cultivated land non-agriculturalization and new-type urbanization is studied under the background of supply-side structural reform. The research results are as follows:(1)From the perspective of time series characteristics, the average degree of coupling coordination between the non-agricultural pressure of cultivated land and new urbanization in 2006,2011 and 2016 in Henan Province was 0.38,0.41,0.44.The overall level of coupling coordination has changed from barely coordinated to primary coordination, showing an upward trend. In 15 provinces and cities across the province, the coordination degree has been improved, accounting for 83% of the total area. The development of non-agricultural pressure of cultivated land and new urbanization tend to be the same in a certain degree during the study period.(2)From the perspective of spatial evolution characteristics, the province’s coupling and coordination level is quite different internally, and it presents a diffusion-type distribution feature centered on Zhengzhou.Zhengzhou has the highest coupling coordination. The coupling coordination of Pingdingshan,Hebi,Luohe,Nanyang,Xinxiang and Sanmenxia is basically stable, and there are some fluctuations in the coordination level of other cities.(3)In 2006-2016,the coordination of non-agricultural pressure and new urbanization in Henan Province was concentrated in Zhengzhou City, showing a small southward trend and a general eastward trend. The center of gravity migration distance is 9.94 km.The enhancement trend of the coupling coordination level in the eastern part of the province is more obvious.(4)The regional differentiation of the coupling coordination between the non-agricultural pressure of cultivated land and the new urbanization in Henan Province is obvious. This paper mainly explores the optimal path of coordinated development of cultivated land non-agriculturalization and new-type urbanization from three aspects: regional differentiation development, coordinated development dynamic monitoring and land supply system reform.
