Design And Application Research Of Gaomi Folk Mud Tiger Derivatives

Gaomi's folk clay tiger handicrafts,as a unique folk handicraft in Chinese tiger decoration culture,has a very rich cultural and artistic connotation.Its simple and plain production methods,powerful shape,and rich and colorful colors show the strong artistic appeal of folk art.At the same time,it also bears the folk custom concept formed by Gaomi's working people for thousands of years.It is an important carrier of working people's spirit,culture and folk life.With the rapid development of social economy and the change of people's lifestyle and aesthetic taste,traditional folk handicraft culture has been strongly impacted and faced with severe survival forms.Gaomi folk clay tiger culture is also faced with the problem of no successor and lack of market,which seriously restricts the inheritance and development of the derivatives of Gaomi clay tiger culture.Exploring the artistic features of the symbol elements of the Gaomi folk clay tiger and the design methods of its derivatives,and further developing the design practice.This paper focuses on the following aspects: 1.Starting from the research on the culture of Gaomi folk clay tiger,the pattern modeling,the color and its connotation are sorted out and summarized,so as to extract the artistic characteristics,element symbols and its derivative design ideas.That provides theoretical support and design strategy for the design and application of Gaomi folk clay tiger derivatives.2.The analysis from Gaomi folk clay tiger derivatives application helps to understand consumers' perceptions of traditional cultural derivatives and of Gaomi folk clay tiger.And also,it explores consumers' purchase demands and concerns for traditional cultural derivatives,and provides a design direction for the design and application of Gaomi folk clay tiger derivatives based on field research results and cultural research;3.According to the proposed design direction,further use modern design thinking and artistic expression form to explore and to innovate design of Gaomi folk clay tiger derivatives;4.According to innovative exploration and attempt of the design,the derivatives of Gaomi folk clay tiger are brandly designed respectively.Based on the analysis of consumers' demand and the design characteristics of the derivatives,a targeted design outline of Gaomi folk clay tiger derivatives is established,and a serialized design scheme of that is also proposed,specifically classified into "Auspicious animals" and "Imposing tigers" two series of derivative design practice.addition,it determines the importance and inevitability of the redesign of Gaomi folk clay tiger cultural derivative to the sustainable development of Gaomi folk clay tiger cultural derivative.
