"Tiger" culture is a kind of humanistic concept,which does not belong to itself.It is a kind of cultural knowledge,social belief,humanistic concept and living custom related to tiger,which is formed by human processing and conception.As early as the Paleolithic age in primitive society,the image of tiger appeared in the form of totem.After continuous artistic processing,tiger culture was widely used in dance,poetry,drama and craft products.Through tracing the origin of tiger cultural symbols,this paper makes an in-depth study on the modeling,color and implication of "tiger" cultural symbols in traditional folk handicrafts,focusing on the basic principles of cartoon cultural and creative product design,including the principles of practicality,innovation,economy and aesthetics.Through the analysis of the existing cartoon creation in the market,this paper summarizes the application strategy of traditional "tiger" cultural symbol in the design of modern cultural and creative products.Through the research and design of this topic,the tiger culture will be endowed with new vitality,and the cultural and creative products that are popular with young people and have the value of traditional culture will be designed.
