As a kind of cultural expression that is closely related to the life of the Chinese people and the historical tradition is the same,the folk art represents the traditional culture and also symbolizes the uniqueness of the region,reflects the people’s life content,and is a valuable asset of Chinese culture.The streets and alleys in the city are places where people live and relax.They have unique characteristics of folk art and intangible cultural heritage,and are the gathering place of natural and human landscapes in the city.Combining folk art and intangible cultural heritage to create a characteristic streetscape can restore the spiritual place in people’s minds,strengthen the characteristics of the block,improve the quality of life,and promote the development and inheritance of block and folk art and intangible cultural heritage.Nowadays,under the background of globalization,the characteristics of folk art and intangible cultural heritage are gradually fading.The streetscapes overlook the regional characteristics,copy other streetscapes and styles,leading to the separation of streetscapes and folk art and intangible cultural heritage.It can be seen that the in-depth study of the landscape design of the folk art and intangible cultural heritage districts has considerable practical significance.As a famous city in Chu and Han,Changsha has a rich variety of folk art,and it also has a lot of street space with folk art and intangible cultural heritage characteristics.This paper takes folk art characteristics and street landscape design as the research object,draws on relevant theories and methods at home and abroad,starts from the concept and relationship of folk art and street landscape,Interpret the relevant excellent cases and investigate and analyze the streetscape with folk art and intangible cultural heritage characteristics.Combining the research results of theory and practice,this paper summarizes the design strategies,application methods and specific approaches of landscape design in the streets of Changsha folk art and intangible cultural heritage.Finally,from the perspective of landscape architecture,with folk art as the vision,the design strategy and method are applied to the landscape design example of Xiping Shafang Street in Changsha.By excavating and refining the natural and human elements of XiufangStreet,the design idea of relying on the folk art of Hunan embroidery was established,and the elements such as materials,colors and patterns in Hunan embroidery were used in the design of streetscapes.It can fully interpret and inherit the characteristics of Hunan embroidery while satisfying its functions.Based on Shaping Xiufang Street,the paper explores the design concept and the specific application methods.It hopes to find a design idea for the streetscape construction of the current folk art and intangible cultural heritage districts,and also for the follow-up folk art streetscape in Changsha.The construction provides a reference.
