Research On Supplier Evaluation Of Building Materials Manufacturing Industry

Under the new normal of economic development,influenced by market changes and policies,the construction material manufacturing industry is in the process of transformation and upgrading.The industry procurement cost is generally on the high side.If it continues to maintain a good development,it is necessary to carry out an efficient and accurate evaluation of suppliers,so as to reduce the procurement cost,ensure the quality of goods,improve the supply efficiency,lay a good foundation for the enterprise’s operation and development,strive for competitive advantage,and help the transformation and upgrading.There are many building materials manufacturing enterprises in our country.The characteristics of supplier evaluation are outstanding,the requirements are similar and the models are similar.The research on supplier evaluation has strong theoretical and practical significance.Based on this,this paper analyzes the current situation of supplier evaluation in building materials manufacturing industry,and makes a systematic study on supplier evaluation.First of all,focusing on supplier selection,according to the research results of domestic and foreign experts and industry procurement needs,consulting experts in the field of supplier research,experts in the building materials industry,procurement personnel of building materials manufacturing enterprises,etc.,and building a building materials manufacturing industry supplier including 14 evaluation indexes in 5 categories including product quality,supply,economic factors,financial situation and service ability Evaluation index system.Secondly,the importance of each evaluation index was investigated by questionnaire to the experts,and the weight of the index was calculated by the analytic hierarchy process based on the results of the comparison and scoring of the two indexes.The top six ranking of importance were product price,qualification rate,on-time delivery rate,energy conservation and environmental protection,transportation cost and safety performance.Thirdly,taking t building materials manufacturing enterprise as an example,the supplier evaluation index system is used to evaluate and select three suppliers.First,the index data is obtained through material collection and expert scoring,then the score of each supplier is calculated by weighted scoring method,and the best supplier is selected.Finally,combined with the characteristics and commonness of the procurement of building materialsmanufacturing industry,four methods of supplier evaluation are summarized,which are to establish supplier evaluation mechanism,implement supplier performance evaluation,strengthen supplier site inspection,and do a good job in supplier information management.Combined with the different situations in actual procurement,three suggestions are put forward for further supplier evaluation methods,which are respectively to adjust supplier evaluation Price index system,dynamic management of suppliers,strategic cooperation with high-quality suppliers.The supplier evaluation index system and calculation method in this paper provide reference for building materials manufacturing enterprises to evaluate and select suppliers.The empirical analysis of T building materials manufacturing enterprises plays a reference role for enterprises to select suppliers.The supplier evaluation method summarized in this paper has a strong promotion significance in building materials manufacturing industry.
