In the process of adapting to the rapid development of the city,some historical blocks can not meet the modern needs and produce a series of contradictions.In the transformation of historical blocks,the phenomenon of "thousands of cities" and the pursuit of fashion and abandoning regional and traditional cultures are serious.Urban historical blocks are not only regional,historical,and unique,but also contain people's sense of identity and belonging to their own cities.What's more,historical blocks should serve local residents and play a more important mission and function of historical blocks..How to preserve the "memory" and historical inheritance of regional culture in the city in the transformation of historical blocks,and reflect the value of the times.There is no single city image of "one thousand cities",which is an urgent problem for us.This paper firstly understands the background of historical block renovation and function renewal through data collection and literature research.Through the typical analysis of Yanzhao regional cultural code,this paper studies the expression of regional culture in historical street reconstruction,Establish and use the concept of code system to guide the main innovation of this article when transforming historical blocks.In the renovation of historical blocks,people have upgraded from the pursuit of visual representation and material level to the pursuit of spiritual level,emphasizing the combination of modern technology and regional cultural elements.Through theoretical research,case investigation analysis and professional practice,the value of regional culture in the transformation of historical blocks is studied,and according to the professional practice of historical block reconstruction,the functions of historical blocks and the improvement of city image are explored.
