The earliest time that Han Embroidery can be traced back to historical records is the Warring States period.The most prosperous period is in the middle of the Qing Dynasty.The most extensive period is in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China.From the beginning of the Qing Dynasty,the Han embroidery artists had spread all over Wuhan's Wuchang,Jiangxia,Hanyang and other regions,and brought great development to the economy of Wuhan at that time.However,due to the outbreak of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Movement in the late Qing Dynasty,some Han embroidery artists were forced to move to Honghu.Therefore,the Han Embroidery gradually became the development of the two central areas in Honghu and Hankou.By the middle of eightieth Century 20 s,modern industry was developing rapidly,and it had great impact on many traditional folk arts,and even was on the brink of extinction.Because the rhythm of Han Embroidery is slow,it is not able to adapt to the background of this time,so it is gradually forgotten.The ancient and lively art form of Han Embroidery has begun to face the crisis of loss.On June 2008,Chinese embroidery was selected as national intangible cultural heritage protection list,in order to explore the protection of Han Embroidery anddevelopment path,in order to further tap the Han Embroidery in the positive significance of cultural,economic and social development,It came into being Wuhan Han Embroidery Museum.Han Embroidery,as a folk art in the central part,is closely related to Jingchu culture,and it bears the customs and customs of the central region.The significance of the Han Embroidery Museum in Wuhan is to inherit a regional characteristic culture and carry forward the artistic features of embroidery in the central region.The significance of the Han Embroidery Museum in Wuhan is not only to understand the process and current situation of Han embroidery culture,but also to inspire us to grasp the mission entrusted by the times to the future generations,so as to better preserve and inherit the Han embroidery culture.The Abstract,Based on the visual design point of view,in Wu han HanEmbroidery Museum visual image application design as a case,starting from the analysis of the development history of Chinese embroidery and its artistic form,on the visual recognition system theory,the basic theory of Museum and communication as the main theoretical foundation.In the application of the visual image design of Wuhan Han Embroidery Museum,mainly divided into three parts,the first part is the basic elements of design,the second part is the museum guide system design,the third part is the application of visual elements related to derivative products based in Wuhan Han Embroidery Museum.Highlighting the regional characteristics of Han Embroidery,transforming the cultural connotation of Han Embroidery,laying aside the shackles of form and grasping the core of its culture,so as to make important contributions to the protection and inheritance of Wuhan's intangible cultural heritage.
