Research On "overlapped Space" In Modern Architectural Design

The life of architecture lies in space,and nested space is put forward as a new form of architectural space.the similarity and complexity in its commonness endow space with multiple characteristic attributes.at the same time,its characteristics bring people rich space perception,which has positive significance for architectural design.Nested space is the research object of this paper.by defining the concept of this space,the research direction of this paper will be pointed out.First of all,in the theoretical exploration,the system and attributes of the nested space are extracted,the rudiment of the space form and the reasons for its formation are explored,and the scope of the study is clearly defined.Secondly,through analyzing the space unit,space interface and space path of the nested space in modern architectural examples,the form of the nested space is summarized,expanded and supplemented from the perspective of duality,and its space form is perfected.Thirdly,through case analysis,the design methods,spatial characteristics and functional characteristics of " nested space" are summed up,and the application trend of " nested space" in contemporary architectural design is envisaged and put forward to perfect the theoretical research of " nested space".Finally,in the design practice part,with the theme of " carnival renovation design of Nanjing art institute" and the theme of " shaping nested space",the experimental design is carried out from the aspects of site analysis,space generation,and expression of achievements,to verify and feedback the previous research.
