Feasibility Study Of SG Highway Engineering Project

The highway projects are the national key infrastructure projects;the implementation of the highway construction scheme has a great influence on the society and the environment.Highway projects have the features of long construction period,large investment,long payback period,and high loan proportion etc.The feasibility study of highway construction plan is an important method towards the success of the completion,operation and investment recovery of the highway,as well as a promotion to the economic development.The research objective of this paper was the S city to G city highway construction feasibility plan.Based on the analysis of social economy and transportation status within the project influencing area,the paper forecasted the traffic volume of this project;analyzed the position,function and role of this project in the Sichuan province highway network and the regional road network;analyzed and demonstrated the technical standards,the designed speed,and the roadbed width;and finally designed each route scheme and its bridges,overhead crossing bridges,roadbed and pavement and so on.On the basis of extensive investigation and study,according to the social and economic development needs along the study region,Sichuan province and the regional road network layout,land resources and mineral resources,and the tourism resources development and utilization plan,the paper compared each scheme considering the traffic volume forecast,technical standards,route plan,project scale,investment estimation and economic evaluation etc.,and proposed the best route corridor scheme which is technically,economically and rationally feasible after integrated comparison and demonstration.The construction of highway can significantly enhance the development of social economic environment,but on the other hand can bring some negative impacts on the natural environment.In order to alleviate the environmental impact caused by the highway construction,the paper also proposed corresponding measures that can minimize the negative impact through the aspects of design,construction,operation,lighting and so on.
