As the society advances,if some products with good sales volume cannot develop through the help of new medias like the Internet,but remained in their local area to be produced and sold,it would be difficult for them to enter a larger market,some products even disappear because they cannot catch up with the trend of the era.As a city's business card,specialty products embody the culture of the region and can also serve as a bridge between the tourism and consumers,which allows more people to understand the region.Driven by the rapid economic development,people's consumption levels increased steadily.Consumers' demand for products not only lies in the value of the product itself,but also develops to a higher spiritual level.Product packaging design can directly affect the product's Sales volume.Therefore,design of the package must also be of importance for the expansion of brand influence and cultural heritage,and to provide a boost to economic developmentHebei Province is located in the North China Plain.In the long-term agricultural production,it has formed distinctive agricultural cultural characteristics,which resulted in unique cultural characteristics of Hebei.Shijiazhuang,the provincial capital,is a city rises because of railways,and it promoted the development of surrounding villages and towns,allowing some traditional cuisine to appear in people's vision.The specialty product----“Yincun specialty”in Shijiazhuang,Hebei mainly consists of Wuxiang donkey meat,Ganglu cakes,Donkey meat Mengzi,and Yincun hele.and so on can be seen everywhere on the market and in street and are deeply loved by people in Shijiazhuang.Although the superior geographical location provided a broad space for development of "Yincun specialty products",its hardware facilities could not meet the requirements of the times,which hindered its pace for development.Yincun is a small village in Shijiazhuang,it is where the "Yincun specialty" is produced.However,due to its lack of characteristics and professional brand planning,it is unfamiliar to the public.but few outsiders know its production place.The reason is that the regional characteristics are not conspicuous.After many surveys,it is found that the brand logo is out of date,the package design is very similar to others,there is no series of packaging system,and the packaging design has not been taken seriously.Therefore,we must design products with regional characteristics according to local conditions,make up for the shortcomings of special products in terms of packaging,strengthen consumers' emotional appeal for packaging,attract consumers to have the desire to purchase so to promote the development of local economy.This paper takes Hebei specialty "Shun Lu Donkey meat " brand as the research object,analyzes its problems and makes clear of its market positioning,carries out brand packaging redesign through the principle of semiotics to extract the traditional regional characteristics of visual symbols,and finally determines he brand packaging plans with local characteristics.
