With the popularity and popularity of mobile terminals such as smart phones, more and more mobile media are entering the daily life of users. As a novel interactive media technology,Augmented Reality is also developing vigorously and reaching into various fields. In the experience economy, the traditional delivery method of food packaging information content can no longer meet the diversified needs of consumers. This paper discusses the AR technology in the food packaging information transmission, the combination of animation, video and other virtual objects and the real environment, which not only fits well with the current "reading era" and can meet the consumer's experience needs, but also enhance its Knowledge of companies and products.Through AR technology, enterprises can transmit more information to consumers, and can conduct background process data analysis,so that enterprises can better understand the needs of consumers and thus enhance brand value. The paper expounds the history and current situation of AR technology, the related technology implementation, and the case analysis of its application fields;combing the correlation between relevant design theory and AR technology application;analyzing and combining the traditional consumer's consumer demand, analyzing the traditional food packaging information transmission Limitations;collect cases of AR technology in food packaging applications, and explore ways in which AR technology can be designed for multi-sensory experience in food packaging information delivery. Finally, the relevant design practice was carried out with the popular snack brand “Three Squirrels”.This study hopes to provide some design ideas for related designs.
