| In recent years,the traditional paper-based packaging and printing industry has been gradually affected by digital information disseminated by Internet media.The improvement of hardware configuration of mobile intelligent terminals and network communication capabilities is not only a challenge but also an opportunity for the packaging and printing industry.The application of augmented reality technology to paper-based packaging and printing can connect packaging information and digital information to each other,allowing paper to serve as an image carrier and be tracked for augmented reality technology,thereby realizing augmented reality functions,enabling users to obtain a surreal experience,and thus broadening paper-based packaging prints convey information content,levels,and dimensions.This thesis focused on the design and development process of augmented reality systems for paper-based packaging and printing.First,the three key technologies implemented in the system,namely tracking and registration technology,intelligent display technology and humancomputer interaction technology,were analyzed.The image natural feature point tracking and registration technology in the computer vision tracking and registration method was adopted for the system studied in this thesis.The method was explained in the thesis.For intelligent display technology,the Android platform mobile smart phone as the system’s handheld display was used in this thesis.For the human-computer interaction technology,the South China University of Technology hospital printing guide augmented reality system was token as a case in this thesis.Its requirements and functions were analyzed,the system architecture,function modules,work flow,development flow and application flow were determined,in order to enable the user to interact with the system for augmented reality by scanning the paper with badge of South China University of Technology.In the case,the user’s control of the interface reflected the typical interaction of the augmented reality system for paper-based packaging and printing.Second,for the development process of the system case,the system’s Android development environment and construction were studied and completed in this thesis,the system rendering and development platform Unity3 D were described and completed,the Vuforia software development kit,which is in the support technology layer of the system case was describe and imported into Unity3 D to develop the various functions of the system case.In the end,four modules,namely "smart assistant","floor guide","hospital overview" and "hospital roaming",were implemented,the system of augmenting reality and virtual reality with scanned the paper with badge was achieved.Based on the development process of this system case,a typical method for developing augmented reality systems for paper-based packaging and printing was identified,and other augmented reality systems for paper-based packaging and printing were designed,such as Wang Laoji augmented reality system case of packaging which could play video by scanning the package identification image.Through programming language debugging and real machine testing in the development process,it is proved that the augmented reality system of paperbased packaging and printing has accuracy in the tracking and registration of packaging and printing identification images,also,the system itself is universal and stable. |
