Research On The Utilization Of Regional Cultural Resources In Dafeng Tourism Development

For new normal economy,industrial structure tends to transform from industrial economy into service economy.With characteristics of high industry correlations,low resource consumption and positive externalities,tourism has been particularly developed as one of high-end service industries in more and more areas.Cultural resources,fundamental for developing tourism and essential for constructing scenic spots.Owing to interregional competitions for tourism development,tourism landscapes and tourist products are required to be differentiated among areas.Concerning utilization of cultural resources,areas are supposed to attach importance to development of their regional cultural resources and construction of unique landscapes with distinctive cultural resources,in order to differentiate tourism landscapes and maintain relative advantages.While developing regional cultural resources,it is also necessary to introduce external resources to optimize structures of local tourist resources by considering responsibilities and constraints for protecting cultural resources.Tourism development and utilization of local cultural resources are complicated for local government.Over the past few years,tourism has developed fast in Dafeng District and become a new highlight of regional economic growth.The advantageous cultural resources and top-rated scenic spots of this area are mostly natural resources.Meanwhile,non-local cultural resources are actively introduced into this area to develop tourism to develop a new global tourist model for optimizing industrial structure and promoting urbanization.On the other hand,there are some problems with development of tourism in Dafeng District,including inadequate utilization of cultural resources,especially characteristic humanistic resources,unreasonable introduction of non-local cultural resources,repeated construction of scenic spots and ignorance of resource protection.Accordingly,Dafeng District may improve core competencies of top-rated tourist attractions by further exploring maritime cultures,salt production cultures and wetland cultures.Relatively weak humanistic landscapes may be organically linked with histories and humanities.Concerning repeated construction of rural tourism and marine themes,effective integrated marketing is indispensable.In light of development dilemmas in non-local themed scenic spots,outstanding managers may be recruited,while landscapes may be transformed to make up existing deficiencies of development.In the meantime,Dafeng District may seek new areas and external drivers for tourism development from the perspective of industrial development strengths and regional integration of external environment.
