In the 21st Century,the reform of China's elementary education system is stable and concerned.However,the study of the connection of elementary education and higher education is somehow neglected.A series of problems sprang up in the connection of elementary mathematics and higher mathematics and have effected college students'learning higher math.This paper starts from present education situation of our junior math and senior math.It analyses calculus course content with the research method of document analysis and finds out two problems:first,the presentation of textbooks differs.Textbooks of high school math is vivid,realistic and various in columns while those of higher math is single and overlook students' learning psychology.It is suggested that textbooks of higher math should strengthen the connection with real life and set more columns to enlighten students' learning.Second,there is polyisomenism in functions and derivatives and disjoint in trigonometric functions and inequalities.It is suggested that textbooks of high school math should set links and reading columns while textbooks of higher math should set preparatory chapters.As to the study on the connection of practice teaching,it uses the research method of test in high schools and finds out two problems:first,with the limit of time and college entrance examination(CEE),teachers put more hours in teaching how to solve problems which causes students to solve problems mechanically instead of understanding the concept of derivative comprehensively.It is suggested that the evaluation system of high school students' math level should be improved to replace CEE.Second,teachers fail to teach calculus with multimedia technology and they are suggested to use the advantage of information visualization while teaching calculus.Through interviews with college teachers,it finds that first,college teachers are unfamiliar with high school courses and it is suggested that teachers who teach higher math should attend lectures on teaching link.Second,the class capacity of higher math is large and tight.Students are difficult to adapt courses during the early period.It is suggested that college teachers should pay attention to the influence of emotional factors on concept learning,and take notice of gradual teaching principles and timely classroom feedback.Finally,In order to make the research results more specific,this paper gives an example of teaching design of the concept of derivative in the preliminary calculus of high school.
