With the continuous development of the economy and society,the concept of performance management,which is widely used in enterprise management,has gradually been introduced intothe management of government departments.Performance management requires the government to focus on performance,improve service awareness and service levels.As the public administration department that undertakes the main functions of the organization's fiscal revenue,the taxation department's level of work efficiency is directly related to the level of government administrative efficiency,which indirectly affects the government's various economic behaviors.As the most important component of the taxation department,the grassroots taxation department directly determines the quality of organizational income.Based on the importance of performance management for the taxation department,this paper elaborates on the concept connotation and theory of performance management from the goal of performance management.On the basis of reviewing relevant materials and questionnaires,this paper analyzes the current situation of performance management of Danzhou Local Taxation Bureau,mainly uses case study method and the questionnaire survey method to analyze the current performance management system of Danzhou Local Taxation Bureau and find out the existence of performance management.Questions,and analyze the causes of the problems,and draw on the experience of international performance management,and put forward some suggestions to improve the current performance management system.The countermeasures and suggestions are to optimize the performance management process and management methods,and provide some reference for the Danzhou Local Taxation Bureau and the taxation system,so as to better play the role of performance management,improve work efficiency,and serve the development of the taxation cause.
