Informatization construction has become an important guarantee for enterprises to maintain vitality,improve market competitiveness and achieve sustainable development.Standard and normative data are the basis of enterprise informatization construction and informatization management,and it is also an important guarantee for enterprises to use informatization to explore business value and improve decision-making ability.As an effective means to improve data quality,data governance is gradually being regarded as a core work of data management by more and more large enterprises,and is carried out in the form of IT project.Progress management is the key to the success of the project.This paper adopts literature research method,qualitative and quantitative combination method and case analysis method.Firstly,combining with the theory of progress management,this paper analyses the status quo of progress management of material data governance project of Group A,mainly focusing on work breakdown,progress planning and progress control.Secondly,analyses the factors influencing the project progress management from the aspects of personnel factors,demand factors,scope factors,communication factors,etc.,and analyses the existing problems.Finally,combining the influencing factors and the characteristics of the project,constructive countermeasures and targeted Suggestions are put forward for the progress management.The following conclusions are drawn through the study: First,in progress management,project strategy and schedule plan are the origin of target following and schedule control.The premise of the plan is to have clear project objectives,implementation scope and work breakdown structure.At the same time,try to ensure the planning balance of the whole project process,so as to avoid early loose and later tense.Second,progress management is a complex systematic engineering.A large IT project may involve multiple project units,multiple contractors,and multiple working groups,and the relationship between their work plans determines the complexity of the project's global plan.These plans cooperate with each other to ensure the smooth development of the project.Third,reasonable schedule plan + efficient schedule execution = project progress controllable.On the one hand,before the schedule plan is made,the full assessment of the possible problems and the corresponding solutions,which will help the plan to be practicable and solve the problems in a timely manner.On the other hand,the execution of the whole team in the implementation stage has a decisive effect on the project progress.Fourth,progress management and other areas of project management such as human resource management,scope management,communication management,risk management are interconnected,interwoven,interacting and inseparable,forming an organic whole of management.Fifth,schedule control is an active,dynamic and cyclic process.In order to ensure the realization of the project overall objectives,actively track the actual progress according to the progress target,adjust the schedule plan,and take necessary and effective control measures to eliminate the obstacles that affect the project progress.
