Progress And Planning Of JJ6000 Scanner Development Project

H Company is a manufacturer of laser barcode scanner, which sets the development, production, sales, service together and to meet end-user’s barcode scanning and data acquisition requirements in retail, industrial, medical, logistics, government and original equipment (OEM) etc. In the recent years, the scanner to fierce market competition, in order to win the market, H company must develop new scanner project to occupy of the market in a short time. Project management plays an important role in the process of the project development.The project progress planning and controlling is the key factors in project management, it is the basis of project implementation, monitoring and control and is the key to the success of the project as well.The thesis is based on the background of the JY6000 scanner project developed in H Company. The thesis firstly introduces the background for why choose this subject, the research and significance inside and exterior country, the purpose and content of the thesis. Then, the JY6000 scanner project actual situation in the project planning and controlling is analyzed, the knowledge of project time management is applied to expound the concrete application of project schedule and control principle in the JY6000 project. In the project process through the WBS, the sequence activities, estimate activity resources, estimating activity duration and other methods to develop a project schedule. Apply the Gantt chart and critical path method is to develop the project schedule. In the implementation of the project schedule control, according to the project schedule control theory, the thesis expounds the factors influencing the schedule of the project encountered in the implementation process, to check whether the actual progress according to the plan by using some of the controlling method. Final, the thesis is to discuss when the error occurs, how to timely find out the root cause, take the necessary remedial plan to adjust the original schedule plan.Through the study of schedule plan and control of JY6000 scanner development project in H company, the thesis further expounds the effective theory of project schedule planning and control. Through this study, it provides some reference for the project planning and controlling, and it also provides good reference on the time schedule management on new product development projects of other enterprises.
