Talent is the most important factor for a company's development and the employment of talents to some extent gives a direction for the development of a company,therefore,a company must attract and retain the best talents to make great progress.There are many different ways to motivate employees,but all of the methods are closely related to personal salary.By this means,salary system optimization is vital to a company's development.The study is targeted on AH,a machine manufacturing enterprise mainly producing automotive leaf springs,automobile steering knuckles,steel pistons for engines and engineering axles.Transferred from a state-owned enterprise to a state-owned holding company,AH has employed the salary system of state-owned enterprise for a long time.Now faced with increasingly market competition,AH needs to optimize its salary system as soon as possible.First of all,this study introduces the background,significance,train of thought and methodology of salary system research and the relevant research achievement at home and abroad.Then the definition of salary and salary system and the theoretical fundamentals of this study are also given to provide theoretical support for AH salary system optimization.Meanwhile,this study makes an overall analysis on AH salary system by ways of document search and questionnaire to find out the weakness of the system,which may include unfairness,lack of competition,ignorance of specificity of positions,etc..And for those problems,the study also analyzed the causes.Thirdly,the author provides an optimum proposal for management-level worker and primary-level worker in AH in light of legitimacy principle,incentive principle,internal fairness principle,external competitiveness principle and employing salary system strategy and salary level strategy.The study also suggests safeguard measures for AH salary system optimization from the perspectives of propaganda and training,organization,communication and coordination,checking and monitoring,as well as rewards and punishments.Finally,the study gives an assessment about the effectiveness of salary system optimization.The significance of the study is to present a whole process of AH salary system optimization by using relevant salary theory through the analysis on current status of AH salary system so as to provide reference for other machine manufacturing enterprises.
