Research On Cost Management Optimization Of Power Construction Projects Based On BIM Technology

Cost is the center of the project management in the power construction industry.However,at present,many of the power companies' technical methods for managing costs need to be improved.While these methods are relatively lagged behind foreign competitors and still exists space for development in cost management.According to the theory and method of project cost management,this paper focuses on the problems of cost forecasting,cost planning,cost control,and cost analysis for the first stage of the A project under construction,built by the YC electric power construction company.Based on BIM,the technology of the construction information model,YC company comprehensively applies the project cost management theory in its cost management.With methods,it explores ways to improve the cost control efficiency of power construction,and increase its scientificity and effectiveness.At the same time,they also enriched case studies of project cost management in power construction industry.The management of the enterprise can't be carried out without the cost management.This paper combines methods of the case analysis and the comparative study,and sorts out the relevant domestic and foreign literature and find out four points below: Firstly,The project management of the power industry project lacks specific case studies;Secondly,The current project cost management research is short of systematization and comprehensiveness,most scholars just focalize on a certain process of project cost management.Tirdly,The existing research on power project cost management can't be applied widely and difficult to fully promote.Fourthly,There is few case studies on the“target-operation” integration method in the current power project cost management.This paper studies the cost management issues of A first stage projectunder construction by YC companies,analyzes the reasons why these problems emerged,and with the theory and method of project cost management,based on BIM technology,respectively from cost forecasting,cost planning,cost control,and cost analysis,optimize the A second stage project cost management.In order to achieve this goal,We decide to compare the situation before and after the project optimization,through the cost reduction rate,target cost completion rate,and management model optimization effect,to check if BIM technology can improve the project cost management and then make some relevant specific guanrantees.Based on the BIM technology,through the comprehensive and systematic optimization of the A project cost management,the feasibility of BIM technology in optimizing the cost of the power project is verified,providing a reference paradigm and useful reference for similar enterprises.
