The problem of poverty is a problem that prevails in the world. In particular,in recent years,Chinese geography scholars have continuously carried out research on poverty and gradually created a poverty geography. In addition,in recent years,China has proposed the grand goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way.The issue of poverty has been given high priority,so the study of poverty has a rich theoretical and profound practical significance.Using the GIS spatial analysis method and statistical analysis method, the spatial distribution characteristics of the state-level impoverished villages in the Dabie Mountains were studied and analyzed. The following conclusions were drawn:(1)The spatial distribution of poverty-stricken villages in the Dabie Mountains area shows a spatial agglomeration with relatively low central density and relatively high density at both ends of the north and south. The northern part presents a trend of high-density north-south banding, and the southern poor village presents a block-like agglomeration space.feature.The northern part of the main focus and Lankao-Minquan-Ningling-Tuocheng-Taikang-Huaiyang-Shangshui-Luancheng-Linquan-Xincai-Weinan-the upper line. The spatial distribution of poverty-stricken villages in the southern part of the country is mainly concentrated in parts of Susong-Taihu-Hunchun-Yingshan-Yuexi-Qianshan groups and Xiaochang,Tuanfeng,Hongan,Shouxian and Lixin. The spatial distribution density of the poverty-stricken villages in the central China is relatively low,and there are some characteristics of high-density areas and low-density areas.(3)Using the nearest neighbor index method to further study the spatial differences in the county-level poverty-stricken villages in the Dabie Mountains area.In general, the statistics in Hubei Province are higher than those in Henan Province and Anhui Province. The overall statistics for the region are 0.66,which shows that at the county-level scale, the national poverty villages in the Dabie Mountain Area show two spatial patterns:uniform distribution and agglomeration.(4)There are two obvious core cluster areas(hot spot areas)and a number of secondary cluster areas(hot spot areas)in the national poverty-stricken villages of the Dabie Mountains area, which are mainly distributed in Lankao,Minquan,Ning County,Tuocheng,Taikang,Huaiyang,The junction area of Fucheng and Shenqiu and the junction area of Susong,Taihu and Hunchun.Susong County is a cold-spot area for the national poverty-stricken villages.(5)The Dabie Mountains have a large area of undulating terrain in the southern core region, namely Macheng,Shangcheng,Jinzhai,Dawu,Hongan,Luotian,Tuanfeng,Hunchun,Yuexi,Taihu, and Susong northwest. The altitude is relatively high, and the altitude is between 800m and 1500m.The poverty-stricken villages with a size of over 1000m are relatively less distributed, and the poverty distribution between 500m and 1000m is relatively large.Through buffering analysis with rivers,it was found that poor villages are mainly distributed within a distance of 5km from the river, especially 2km-5km.(6)The distribution of state-level poverty-stricken villages in the Dabie Mountains area has a significant negative correlation with per capita arable land area, per capita agricultural output value and per capita GDP.Through buffer analysis with cities and towns,it is found that the national poverty villages in the Dabie Mountains area are mainly distributed in areas far away from the cities.Within 20 km,with the increase of distance, the number of poverty-stricken villages at the national level has rapidly increased, and the number is distributed at the distance of 10-20 km.At the same time, the distribution of poverty-stricken villages has important links with the level of infrastructure such as transportation, post and telecommunications, and disaster prevention and mitigation.
