The Supplier Selection Base On The Triple Bottom Line In The Sustainable Supply Chain Management

With the awareness of the lack of resources and the attention paid to the environment protection,people are increasingly concerned about sustainable supply chain management,and it has provided a new idea which is used to recognition or restructure the supply chain to many companies.Some proactive companies have begun to create more sustainable supply chains.But the establishment and development of sustainable supply chain can not be separated from the cooperation of the upstream and downstream enterprises.Choosing the right supplier will not only reduce the negative impact of business on the environment from the source,but also improve the sustainability performance of enterprises as a whole.Therefore,how to choose a qualified supplier in the sustainable supply chain has also become a real problem.This article begins with a description of sustainable supply chain management.Through the analysis of supplier selection process,I found that the research on supplier selection at this stage mainly focuses on the method of supplier selection,few people have proposed a new supplier selection index system.In the past,the indicators of supplier selection concentrated on the economic and social aspects,seldom considered the impact on the environment.As the society paid more attention to the environment,the former supplier selection index system could not completely satisfy business needs.In this paper,we start from the supplier selection index system,introduce environmental indicators,build a new supplier selection index system,and choose a simple supplier selection method for case analysis to prove the applicability of the supplier selection index system,provide a new idea for enterprises to choose suppliers in the future.
