A Study On Economic Development Of Tibetan Region In Southern Qinghai Province

The economic development of ethnic areas is the necessary process of realizing the modernization of our country.Without the well-off of the people in the minority areas,the well-off society of the whole country can not be realized.In recent years,especially since the great development of the western region,the economy of our ethnic areas has been developing rapidly,and the Tibetan area in the south of Qinghai is no exception.The Tibetan region in the south of Qinghai Province is a minority region with backward economic development in China.The population distribution is mainly in Tibetan area.Although the economic and social aspects have been developed,but compared with the more developed areas in China is far from enough.The paper summarizes the current situation of economists' research on the development of regional economy at home and abroad,and the basic theory of regional economics used in this paper.Then present situation of economic development in Qinghai Tibetan area is analyzed from the aspects of economy gross,income gap,industrial structure,infrastructure,and so on,and compares it with the average in Qinghai Province and the overall level of the country,it can be seen that the economic and social development of the Tibetan area in the south of Qinghai has great room for improvement.Then the paper generalizes the problems encountered in economic development of the Tibetan area in the south of Qinghai province,which is faced with the problems of small economic aggregate,unbalanced regional development,difficult adjustment of industrial structure,and so on.Select indicators to measure the state of economic development,with the aid of SPSS19.0 software,factor analysis is used to analyze the economic development strength of Qinghai province.Further confirm the shortage of economic development of Tibetan region in southern Qinghai province.It is found that the three states of Qinghai province are atthe bottom of the list of competitiveness of Qinghai province,both the economic development strength and the average level of economic development need to be improved.Finally,in view of the problems existing in the economic development of the Tibetan region in the south of Qinghai province,the paper puts forward some reasonable suggestions for promoting economic development from the aspects of consumption,industry,infrastructure,etc.In order to promote the economic development of Tibetan region in southern Qinghai province,to provide reference for the economic development of ethnic areas,better realize the common prosperity of all ethnic groups.
