Research On Influencing Factors Of Farmland Scale Management Willingness Based On SEM Model

With the further advance of rural reform in China,mechanization and scientization as well as large-scale will be the future development trend of agricultural modernization.Ever since Suggestions on steering management of rural land circulate orderly and moderate scale management of agricultural land was issued,recent first policy documents all covered scale management of agriculture land which had raised lots of concerns from all sectors of society.The land sources in our country are overall deficient and unevenly distributed,while the level of economic development in different areas are inconsistent and the terrain is highly complex in China.The exploration on moderate scale management of agricultural land should concentrate more on regional difference.This article focus on demands of land management since the agriculture land use and the cultivated land preservation had embarked on a new stage in which quantity,quality,ecology,capacity and efficiency are of equal importance.Also this paper has the aid of sociological theory,economic theory and field work,choosing Qianjiang City which is one of the intensive agricultural region in Hubei Province as the study region and the emphasis is on carrying out empirical investigations in Xiongkou town,Zhugentan town and Houhu farm in Qianjiang City.And the research adheres to the following logic route,from affecting factors of the farmland scale management to verifying the analysis on the affecting factors,and abstracting the operating policies in further.The main results of the study were as follows:First of all,this research sums up systematically the connotation of current farmland scale management,according to qualitative analysis on affecting factors of farmland scale management and in reference to previous studies on the transfer of farmland scale managemen as well as the data derived from field work.Also this paper is an anatomy about the connotation of farmland scale managemen,defined by different agriculture operators in Qianjiang City,like family farm,leading specialized household,specialty cooperative of peasants and leading enterprise.And affecting factors of farmland scale managemen in plain intensive agricultural region are divided into 5 potential variables,including agricultural production and operation,agricultural resource endowment,restriction of the transfer of agricultural land,environmental characteristic of agriculture and cognition of behavior of peasant.Secondly,it turns out that the load of factors of them are in a high level,after conducting reliability analysis and validity analysis on 21 deviation variables and 6 potential variables,including 5 endogenous variables and a exogenous variable with SPSS,based on 176 samples in questionnaires,which means those variables suit the factors analysis fine and they are substantial explication for affecting factors of farmland scale management.Thirdly,we build a conceptual model of affecting factors of farmland scale management in plain intensive agricultural region,based on structural equation model.Also we put forward 5 research hypotheses.Calculated with AMOS,the path coefficients of 5 endogenous variables are 0.331,0.238,0.218,0.238 and 0.240,and it is thought to have positive impact on affecting factors of farmland scale management,which reinforce the hypotheses of the research.The last but not the least,we put forward some reform ideas and policy-type proposals which shed light on the approach of farmland scale management in plain intensive agricultural region,based on the results of the qualitative and quantitative analysis.
