| Driven by the rapid development of modern society and economy, agricultural production and development also need to be continuously improved, and the household contract responsibility system had been difficult to meets the requirements of modern agricultural development. At the same time, farmland transfer is considered to be an important way to solve the problems of uneconomical agricultural scale, low agricultural production efficiency, insufficient agricultural production competitiveness, and land fragmentation.Although a series of policies and measures have been formulated to accelerate farmland transfer, the farmland transfer rate is relative low.The urbanization rate of China in 2016 was 56.86%,but the land transfer rate in China was 35.1%.In addition, there were also highly heterogeneity in the situation of farmland transfer among various regions.Farmers’ willingness and behavior of farmland transfer has fundamental impact on regional farmland transfer.Regarding the research on farmers’ willingness to transfer out of farmland and its influencing factors, domestic scholars are currently focusing on socio-economic factors, cultural factors, policy and institutional factors, and other factors, and there are few psychologists aiming at farmers’ participation in the decision-making mechanism of farmland transfer Analysis. From the perspective of farmers, although the research literature has gradually increased in recent years, the research mostly uses the Theory of Planned Behavior for analysis. The analysis indicators and factors under this theory are too single in terms of dimensional performance, and the research lacks in-depth discussion. As a comprehensive model,Decomposed Theory of Planned Behavior(DTPB)can decompose the model appropriately according to the specific research object and situation. Its belief structure is more stable, and its explanatory ability and applicability are stronger. It is helpful for further exploration of the deeper psychological perception elements of individual behavior.Against the above background, this paper will select the Decomposed Theory of Planned Behavior(DTPB)as the research basis, and analyze farmers’ willingness of transferring out farmland and its its influencing factor from theoretical and empirical perspectives.Firstly,we constructed a theoretical model of farmers’ willingness of transferring out farmland, and put forward corresponding hypotheses.Secondly, according to the problems found in the pre-survey,we modified the questionnaire to ensure the rationality of the questionnaire design and the feasibility of the survey plan.Based on a survey of farmers in 16 villages in 9 cities in Wuhan metropolitan area,483 valid questionnaires were collected.Thirdly, the two data analysis software SPSS17.0 and AMOS21.0 were used to perform descriptive statistical analysis, reliability and validity test, hypothesis test, correlation test and influencing factor analysis on the acquired data; Finally, through analyzing the research results of this article,we can draw conclusions, and on this basis, put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions. The results of this study show that:(1)Decomposed Theory of Planned Behavior(DTPB)in the field of social psychology was applicable to analyze the factors influencing farmers’ willingness of transferring farmland out;(2)Observed variables under various belief dimensions had a heterogeneous effect on farmers’ willingness of of transferring out farmland,Farmers’ willingness was influenced by behavioral attitudes, perceived behavioral control, and perceptual control in turn;(3)There were significant differences in influential factors and behavioral intentions of farmers with different individual characteristics;(4)Economic benefit was the strongest driving force for farmers’ willingness to transfer out of farmland, while employment security was the largest obstacle. What’s more, perceived risk had a negative impact on farmers’ willingness of transferring out farmland;(5)Establishing rural property rights trading platform earlier is the advantage of Wuhan metropolitan area, but information asymmetry still restricts farmers’ willingness of transferring out farmland.Based upon the above conclusions,in order to improve the willingness of farmers to transfer farmland and guide the orderly flow of farmland contract management rights,we recommend the following priority actions be taken:(1)Respect farmers’ willingness of transferring farmland, and protect farmers’ land rights;(2)Establish a rent system tailored to local conditions;(3)Improve the establishment of agricultural land information trading platform;(4)Strengthen the formal and non-formal education in rural areas with the aim to enhance the non-agricultural employment ability of farmers;(5)Optimize the working environment, and to improve the social security system to effectively protect farmers’ right and interest. |
