R&D Performance Analysis Of China's Patent-intensive Industries

application patents,some industries apply for patents based on technical protection and technology exchange,and different motives for patent application are to enterprises and The innovation efficiency of the industry has a different effect.The patent intensive industry is an important part of the knowledge intensive industry.With the arrival of the era of knowledge economy,the patent intensive industry plays a more and more important role in the upgrading of the industrial structure,the competition of the national comprehensive strength and the economic development.The patent intensive industry is an industry with special interest as the core element,and it has high technology.Technology,high growth and high yield are one of the important engines of national economic development,and have made great contributions to China's GDP growth and employment.But at the same time,there are many problems in the development of the patent intensive industry.The different industries of patent intensive industries will produce different industrial innovation efficiency because of the different motives of applying for patent.Based on the perspective of patent motivation,this paper analyzes the innovation efficiency of patent intensive industries.This study absorbs the definition of patent intensive industries at home and abroad and the research results of innovation efficiency analysis method,takes into consideration the availability of data and other factors,and adopts four methods for 41 industries in China,plus the index of the size of the invention patent,and jointly identifies the patent intensive industries,through this method.The 8 patent intensive industries in China's industrial categories have been identified.In order to refine the process of industrial innovation,we can make a more in-depth analysis of the efficiency of industrial innovation,and divide the innovation process of the patent intensive industry into 3 stages: technology output,materialized output and value output.On the basis of the motivation of patent application,the results of the innovation efficiency of the three stage are analyzed.By using the scale variable DEA model to measure the innovation efficiency of the three innovation stages of 38 industrial major industries,and analyze the overall and sub industrial analysis of the measurement results.The results show that the innovation efficiency of the patent intensive industry in the three stages of the innovation process is higher than that of the non patent intensive industry,indicating the patent intensive production.In the three stages of science and technology output,materialized output and value output,the industry has more advantages than non patent intensive industries.Because of the intense competition in the industry,the patent intensive industries have significant motivation,policy acquisition motivation and technical trading motivation,and the market protection motivation is not significant.The motives of market protection for non patent intensive industries are significant,and the other three motives are not significant.It shows that the non patent intensive industries are more to protect the core technology,but not the patent intensive industries are more inclined to technology exchange,market competition and future development.The specific electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry,instrument and instrument manufacturing industry pay more attention to obstruct the third party infringement,that is,to focus on blocking motives and market protection motivation,and can not promote the development of industrial innovation efficiency.Pharmaceutical manufacturing,computer,communications and other electronic equipment manufacturing,railways,ships,aerospace and other transportation equipment manufacturing,general equipment manufacturing and special equipment manufacturing are more concerned with the protection of patent technology,so the motivation of patent application pays more attention to market protection motivation and less emphasis on technology.Transaction motivation does not form a perfect competitive market,resulting in relatively low efficiency of industrial innovation.At the end of the article,in view of the measurement results,the paper puts forward the shortage and Prospect of the article,and puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions from the four aspects of the integration of the three stages of the innovation process,the improvement of the blending and coordination of the industry,the deepening of the optimization of the allocation mechanism of input-output,and the establishment of a policy transmission bridge.
