Analysis On The Development Status And Solution For Overseas Warehouse Of Cross-border E-commerce Logistics

As an important means of traditional trade transformation,cross-border e-commerce has played an important role in China's economic development.Cross-border logistics,as the last kilometer of cross-border e-commerce,is critical to whether the goods can reach consumers accurately and safely,which is crucial for a cross-border deal.However,the development of cross-border logistics lags behind the development of cross-border e-commerce.There are problems such as high costs,long delivery,high rates of packages loss,inconvenience in return and replacement,and it is difficult to meet the needs of consumers.The overseas warehouse is emerging for the traditional logistics stagnation.Overseas warehouses refer to establish warehouses overseas through which sellers could deliver goods to the target market in advance,store them in local warehouses and realize local delivery.After consumers place orders,the goods could be delivered locally.Through centralized transportation,logistics costs have been reduced,and the delivery cycle has been shortened by shipping directly from destination countries.Also,it has helped to reduce the rate of damage and loss and provide return services,improve the satisfaction of consumers,help to enhance the brand image and the competitiveness of the enterprises in overseas markets,and promote companies get higher benefits.In the first chapter of this article,the autuor puts forward the viewpoint that overseas warehouses have good prospects in the future from the background and causes of the rise of overseas warehouses for cross-border logistics.The second chapter introduces three modes of overseas warehouse,analyzes the advantages of different modes,and then makes a detailed analysis of its development status.The third chapter summarizes the problems arose in the development of overseas warehouses: firstly,some enterprises cannot afford high construction cost;the long-term storage of goods tends to cause unmarketable backlogs;the lack of legal system in overseas warehouse leads to the lack of a standardized development environment;there is a shortage in logistics talents,and the overseas warehouse puts forward higher requirements for the employees;the localization operation of overseas warehouse puts forward higher requirements,not only local distribution,but also local customer service,design,local payment,etc.The fourth chapter adopts the case analysis method,selects the Russian speed-through overseas warehouse as the analysis object,analyzes the background and reasons of the Russian speed-through overseas warehouse,and then analyzes the problems and countermeasures in the overseas warehouse construction process,in order to obtain overseas warehouse construction lessons.The last chapter proposes relevant suggestions for the problems existing in overseas warehouses,with the support of national policies,multiple parties cooperate to build overseas warehouses to reduce costs;using advanced technologies like big data analysis and cloud computing to to improve the company's inventory management capabilities and avoid the backlog of commodities;enterprises and schools cooperate to cultivate overseas warehouse talents that meet the needs of enterprises;attach importance to the shopping experience of consumers and continuously improve after-sales services;vigorously promote the localization of enterprises and regard localization operations as the current key work.Through of these measures,the problems existing in the development of overseas warehouse will be solved,and a mature cross-border logistics system will be constructed to promote the long-term sustainable development of cross-border e-commerce.
