| In December 2017,Shenyang was elected "China's top ten ice-snow tourism city",the development of tourism industry played an important role in the economic construction of Shenyang.The 13 th five-year plan for tourism development in Shenyang(2016--2020),which proposes the introduction of international tourism talents,the establishment of a talent service platform,unimpeded employment channels and other measures.The training of tourism practitioners has become an important link in the tourism development of Shenyang.The tour guide is the most basic of the tour operators,and the business ability of them will be shown as the tourist guide service level,which will greatly affect the tourist experience during the tour.However,as a traditional service industry,tourism industry have been lower employment threshold,guide's personnel salary is low,the business level is uneven,a series of negative news has also led to the guide social reputation and recognition in a low level,under this background,the tour guide personnel competency is very important for the study.Based on a large number of literature research and empirical analysis of the tourist market in Shenyang,this paper puts forward the general train of thought for the cultivation of tourist guidesIn the first chapter,the author first analyzes the background and significance of this study,and then combs the relevant research at home and abroad,in cluding three aspects of competency characteristics,competency characteristics of tourism practitioners,and tour guide talents;finally,it selects the research methods which are combined with literature analysis,questionnaire interview,expert scoring and comprehensive analysis.In the second chapter,the author first defines the basic concepts that will be involved in this paper,and then explains the basic theories involved in this paper,such as competency theory,human capital theory,incentive theory,etc.Those are used as theoretical support for the follow-up research.The third chapter introduces the current situation and existing problems of the development of tourist guide talents in Shenyang,such as the strong mobility of the tourist guides,the different personnel quality and the low level of work input.Those are used as the realistic basis for the follow-up research.The fourth chapter,taking the tourist guides in Shenyang as the research object,constructs the competency model of tourist guide talents in Shenyang th rough the post analysis of the guide,the extraction of the characteristics of the tourist guide's competence,the design and analysis of the questionnaire for the characteristics of the tourist guide's competence.In the fifth chapter,the author comprehensively using the evaluation indexsystem of the competency of tour guides,and evaluating the importance of various factors and elements combined with the analytic hierarchy process.Then,the author puts forward four countermeasures for the training of tourist guides in Shenyang,involving the training,career planning,education of moral and law,talent pool,etc.The main results of this paper are three points: firstly,we have established the competency model of tourist guides,including five dimensions,such as knowledge and skills,communication and coordination,planning organization and leadership control.Secondly,through the analysis of the present situation of tourist guides in Shenyang,the problems in the development are found.Finally,according to the competency model of tourist guides and the relative weight of various indicators in the model,the author puts forward four countermeasures for the promotion of tourist guides.Because of the complexity of competency model and the limited time resources,there are still some shortcoming.Firstly,the sample data only reflects the views of Shenyang tourist guide and the relevant scholars,which has a certain one-sidedness.Secondly,the author's naming and description of competency indicators may be incomplete and subjective.Finally,there is a lack of research on the causes and influencing factors of tour guides' behavior.It is hoped that in the future study,we can make up for the deficiency and further improve the content,it is also hoped that this study can provide a basis for the education,employment and retention of tourist guides,besides,it can help improve the quality of tourist guide service,improve the core compet itiveness of urban tourism,and create new profit growth points for urban tourism. |
