A Study On The Self-help Electronic Tourist Guide System

As representation of tourist agency, tourist guide is considered to be the bridge andligament in the transformation of tour service. And with the development of independenttravel, change of demand for tour as well as the abroad application of IT, the category oftourist guide is not only limited to a person but also referred to the electron system thatcan provide "tour service". Within those kinds of system, those widely used and whosemain use are providing tour services for travelers a are referred to self-help electronictourist guide system.But now studies on self-help electronic tourist guide system is limited to realizationof one or more technique, lack of systematic consideration, moreover, the invention ofany technique will bring some social matters, so is self-help electronic tourist guidesystem. It will also affect every aspect of tourism, which is lack of researches. Based onthose actualities, the thesis does a systematic research through analyzing the generation,development, function, design of the system and the compare of person and electronicsystem.The thesis consists of four chapters. In chapter one, the author introduces thebackground, purpose, meaning and frame of this study and defines some relateddefinitions; In chapter two, the author does a systematic research on some relatedproblems; In chapter three, the author sets up a frame model of the system and analyzesthe design and arrangement of function models; In chapter four, taking Qingdao forexample,the author expatiated on the organization of system data; In chapter five, theauthor compares the person and electronic system by using the comparer theory, andexpects the future of self-help electronic tourist guide system.
