At present,the economic development of the world has been adjusted and the domestic economic development has entered a new normal situation.Small and medium-sized enterprises are facing great challenges.The flexibility and difficulty of human resource management are increasing continuously.How to help the small and medium-sized enterprises develop continuously and help them to be bigger and stronger? How to hunt,encourage and detain employees? All these,it depends on the refinement of the human resources.Especially an establishment of a harmonious and long term relationship has become a more urgent subject which we should put in the priority position.In the new decades of 21 century,it is the focal point that we should understand the expectations and requirements of the employees,to comprehended their work concept and values to the life.With these knowledge,we stimulate the employees' job engagement.How to improve job engagement through effective employee relationship management is of great practical significance.As an invisible bridge between enterprises and employees,psychological contract plays an important role in influencing employees' job engagement.It is a kind of implicit push,which affects the work enthusiasm and emotional input of the staff to the organization.In this way,not only the remuneration term should be written clearly in the labor contract which was taken as an employee's basic guarantee,but also the employee's inner expectation should be attended and satisfied as possible.So that the employees,with their full inner satisfaction,will put all their energy on the goal of the unity of their own and organization.This paper takes the staff of small and medium enterprises as the research object,and integrates the employee relation management,psychological contract and job engagement into the unified research framework,investigate the relationship between the three,and examines the intermediary role of psychological contract between the employee relationship management and the job engagement.By using the literature analysis and questionnaire,SPSS 17.0 was used to carry out a series of statistics and analysis of data,which verified the research hypothesis.The results show that:(1)the individual dimensions of employee relationship management,psychological contract and job engagement are different in different demographic variables.(2)There is a significant positive correlation between employee relationship management and job engagement,and there is a significant positive correlation between employee relationship management and psychological contract;and there is a significant positive correlation between psychological contract and job engagement.(3)The Employee relationship management of small and medium-sized enterprises has a positive predictive effect on the job engagement,and the employee relationship management has a positive predictive effect on psychological contract;psychological contract has a positive predictive effect on the job engagement.(4)psychological contract play a partial intermediary role between employee relationship management and job engagement.
