Since the reform and opening up,China's hotel industry has made rapid progress.The number of hotels has been increasing rapidly with the vigorous development of the economy,and the market scale is expanding.Hotel industry is a labor intensive and emotional intensive service industry.Human resources play a crucial role in the hotel industry.It determines the quality and service quality of the hotel industry,which is the key to the hotel's competitive advantage.Doing well the human resource management of hotels can improve quality and efficiency of hotels,enhance profitability and market competitiveness of hotels,and gradually promote the comprehensive and sustainable development of hotels.This paper takes W Hotel,a high star hotel in P City of four line city as an example,through the investigation and analysis of the status of the hotel human resources management,the hotel human resources management has the following problems.First of all,the hotel human resources planning is not reasonable.Secondly,the recruitment plan and post description of the hotel are not perfect.The construction of the hotel recruitment team,the information construction of recruitment and the evaluation of recruitment effectiveness need to be strengthened.Third,the hotel lacks the correct understanding of the training,the training needs analysis,the training project setting and the training evaluation mechanism need to be perfected.Fourth,the main body of the performance assessment of the hotel is single,the performance feedback and the results of performance assessment need to be improved.Fifth,the salary structure of the hotel and the fairness of the salary need to be optimized.Sixth,the awareness rate of hotel incentive system is low,and the form of incentive is not rich enough.Finally,the cultural construction of the hotel enterprise needs to be promoted.Then,according to the internal and external development environment of hotels,aiming at the problems of human resources management in hotels,the corresponding suggestions for improving hotel human resources management are put forward.First of all,the hotel should formulate a scientific hotel human resource planning.Secondly,the hotel should improve the hotel recruitment plan and post instructions,strengthen the recruitment team and recruitment information system construction,evaluation of recruitment effectiveness.Third,the hotelshould improve the correct understanding of the training,improve the training demand planning,training project setting and training evaluation system.Fourth,the hotel should determine a number of performance evaluation subjects,improve the performance feedback system,and improve the application of performance evaluation results.Fifth,the hotel should adjust the salary structure and optimize the salary system.Sixth,the hotel should enrich the incentive form and strengthen the propaganda and education of the incentive system.Finally,the hotel should strengthen and promote the construction of hotel culture.Based on the actual situation of W Hotel,this paper integrates the theory and practice of hotel human resource management,aiming at the existing problems of W Hotel's human resource management,and tries to find effective solutions.The research results of this paper will provide theoretical support and decision reference for the human resource management practice of high star hotels in the three or four line cities in China.
