The development of the Internet and information technology has brought people to the Web2.0 era,which is highly focused on information sharing and interactive communication.And the Intelligent Tourism has appeared under such background.It has enabled people to have timely access to travel information and thus further enriched people's travel experience with the help of mobile terminals like smart phones.Nowadays Intelligent Tourism is mainly reflected on three aspects,namely Intelligent Service,Intelligent Management and Intelligent Marketing.The final goal of Intelligent Tourism is to provide new quality travel experience for tourists.Tianshui,a city with rich tourism resources in Gansu has really long history,which can be traced back to eight thousand years ago.The long history of Tianshui has given splendid culture to it.Tianshui is both rich in cultural and natural tourism resources with Maijishan Grottoes and the Temple of Fu Xi as the representatives of the natural landscapes.But tourism in Tianshui is not highly advanced due to its tourism marketing.In Intelligent Tourism Era,Tianshui should adopt both the New Media Marketing and traditional Marketing to promote tourism and firmly establish the tourism brand—The Source of Chinese Cultivation and attract more visitors from all over the world to Tianshui,which is beneficial to the development of tourism industry.With the literature analysis,case analysis,investigation research method and comparative research method as research methods,based on the tourism destination marketing theory,especially the theory of new media marketing in Intelligent Tourism Era,this thesis has pointed out the necessity of new media marketing in Intelligent Tourism Era,confirmed the superiority of new media marketing over traditional marketing by case study and analyzed the marketing modes and new media marketing problems in Tianshui,and finally put forward the optimization strategies,which can be used to promote the tourism development in Tianshui.
