United States,with the largest consumption of textiles products has imported large quantities of garments and textiles products from Asian countries,especially China.The textile and apparel industry have a relatively mature supply chain in international trade.This article is based on the multinational procurement business of the US apparel company.Through relevant theoretical research,combined with the writer's own experiences,this report targeted and developed a supply chain management and optimization strategies for the American apparel company in its transnational procurement.Founded in 1992,M Company is a professional garment company specializing in the production and sale of women apparel in USA.The company's current main customer is Q company,the largest TV shopping channels and online direct marketing platform in the United States.M company's business model is to accept the customer's designated clothing style or the company's own design and development style,since there is no production plant,so all the orders' production were completed through the multinational procurement by the suppliers.The term "transnational procurement",which appears to be "high-end",is actually difficult to implement in the actual operation process.Operators must not only overcome language and cultural obstacles.but also learn how to effectively communicate information and make the supply chain The value chain becomes the company's strong competitiveness.At present,the problem M company needs to solve urgently is to do a good job in cross-border procurement of supply chain management.Based on the theory of integrated supply chain management,this paper refers to the classical process model of the supply chain and the core content of the KPMG model.It first sorts out the specific problems encountered in the company's supply chain management and the reasons for the problems,and then according to the current operating status of M company.And development needs to focus on urgently needed aspects of management:the punctual delivery strategy among enterprises at each node of the supply chain,the establishment and development of strategic partners and long-term supply and demand partners,and the development of defects in management such as the lack of logistics departments and other issues A feasible optimization strategy.Finally,the implementation of optimization programs and safeguard measures are proposed.Supply chain management is a global topic and a key chapter in MBA learning.The in-depth research and exploration of advanced management concepts that are closely related to the industry have profound implications for future work and the company's development.It also facilitates mutual discussion among peers.
