At the end of the twentieth century,China began to march into the ranks of an aging population.According to the scholars' calculations.the demographic dividend of our country gradually disappeared around 2013.Nowadays the problem of population aging is prominent,and the problems such as reforming the pension insurance system and determining the reasonable replacement rate of pension need to be solved urgently.Excessively high replacement rate has the following problems: retirement effect,"free riding" phenomenon,pressure from state and staff,increase in system-raise ratio,etc.,and even affect social and economic development;While the replacement rate is too low can not guarantee the retirement spending level and quality of life,and ultimately reduce the happiness index of family and even the state.As a large province of mineral resources in our country,Shanxi Province is also one of the pilots for pension reform in public institutions.The permanent population is36,816,400.In 2014,Shanxi Province achieved the full coverage of the pension insurance system.Shanxi Province has the characteristics of aging population aging and rapid development.Within five years,the number of elderly people has increased significantly.It is important to determine and maintain the appropriate replacement rate for pensions,which is of great significance to the consumption and living standards of retired and serving employees.Based on the life cycle,overlapping generations,and social security theories,this paper takes the replacement rate of employees' pensions in urban enterprises in Shanxi Province as the research object,starting with the overall situation of the replacement rate of employee pensions in urban enterprises in Shanxi,through horizontal,vertical,and The comparison of target replacement rates,combined with the province's social and economic factors,has led to problems such as the inability of pension replacement rates and economic development levels,the pressure of in-service employees to maintain,and the large differences in pension substitution rates among different companies and positions.On this basis,the pension replacement rate model was set to analyze the influencing factors,and the upper and lower limits of the replacement rate of the appropriate pensions for urban employees in Shanxi Province were calculated.The replacement of workers in urban enterprises in Shanxi Province was based on models and wage and price indices.The rate is adjusted dynamically to explore the dynamic adjustment of the law,and finally from the perspective of social security,corresponding policies and suggestions are proposed to provide certain reference for setting the appropriate pension replacement rate in Shanxi Province.
