With the development of science and technology and the new trend of global economics,the critical role of corporate culture in the business competition is widely realized.Recently,Chinese enterprises have formulated a vital power in the global competing game,while the value of Confucian culture is explored by increasingly more academics.These relevant studies,however,only focused on demonstrating ideal corporation culture's prospect with metaphysical and abstract way.There are limited studies showing how corporate culture is facilitated in the business practice.Meanwhile,the studies working on how to combine traditional culture based corporate culture with modern business administration are less.It is good to see project management tools and approaches have achieved significant outcomes in the modern business management within different industries with the development of managerial technologies.We will focus on how to take advantages of project management approach and tool to build Confucian culture based corporate culture.This dissertation tries to learn from domestic and overseas academics theories and research about corporate culture and Confucian culture and takes advantage of FT Company's corporate culture construction project as the case to illustrate how to facilitate project management tools to process Confucian culture based corporate culture construction.It benefits to make Confucian culture effective in the corporate's management operations as well as contribute to achieve corporate's social corporate responsibility and corporate value.In order to illustrate FT's corporate culture construction project,the literature review methodology,field work research methodology and case investigation methodology are used in this dissertation.It introduces FT Company's Confucian culture based corporate culture's major content,core values and different levels objectives.It also concludes the drawbacks of FT Company's corporate culture construction and tries to resolve the problem through leading a corporate culture construction project.In the process of project planning,executing,monitoring and concluding,there exits five project modules,including educational training,caring influencing,system regulating,rewards and punishments strengthening and leader modeling.Furthermore,the Gantt Chart and Work Breakdown Structure are utilized in the project time management,to breakdown different levels of works,clarify task account,and track project timelines.The quality KPI system and Fishbone Diagram are utilized in the project quality management to settle down project objectives and show pathway towards continuously improvements.Finally,the input and output analysis is utilized in the budget and cost management in this project.Some outstanding outcomes are delivered after corporate culture construction project.Basically,employees in the FT have more knowledge and awareness towards its Confucian culture based corporate culture,show more willingness to change their behaviors automatically and are encouraged to participate in corporate culture construction spontaneously.The corporate culture constriction based on Confucian culture help FT Corporation establish substantial and efficient communication channel as well as culture interaction platform to gain sophisticated feedback about corporation culture related communications.It also contributes to trigger employees'positive behaviors,such as maintaining high level engagement level comparing with competitors in the same industry.At the same time,the corporation culture establishment benefits to lower negative behaviors occurrence rate and control the corresponding negative impacts and ultimately enhance FT Corporation's financial performance as well as brand image.The dissertation also promotes that the future corporate culture construction should be started from us and focusing on human beings;try to suit action to the word and keep continuous improvements in the practices;improve construction level through following framework of 'faith,belief,discipline and responsibility';as well as strengthen the capability of project management to boost corporate culture management.It is believed all these suggestions are not only beneficial for FT's future corporate culture construction project,but also contribute precious experiences and learning points for other enterprises.
