Since the 1990s,Mongolia began to enter the market economy;the whole country has undergone enormous changes and the management of state-owned enterprises and private enterprises changed as well.We can learn from the experience from highly developed economies;one of the key factors in the development of enterprises is to carry out effective human resource management to improve employee job satisfaction.When Mongolia is compared to developed countries,the level of human resource management is relatively low,and there is a lack of research on employee job satisfaction.Taking into account the different characteristics of Mongolian state-owned enterprises and private enterprises and the different degree of importance of human resource management,and the relationship between human resource management factors and employee's job satisfaction for these two different types of employees,it is worth to do research about this research field to guide business practice.This paper mainly studies the influence and comparison of six human resource management functions,such as organizational structure,employee recruitment,employee training,performance appraisal,remuneration and corporate culture,and its impact on the employees of state-owned enterprises and private enterprises.The following four issues in particular:1.Is thereany significant difference in the job satisfaction level of state-owned enterprises and private enterprises employees in Mongolia?2.Is thereany difference in how the following four characteristics(age,gender,education degree and employment time)influence job satisfaction level of the two types of employees?3.Does human resource management functions have a significant influence on the job satisfaction level of the two types of employees?4.Is thereany difference in how the human resource management functions influence job satisfaction level of the two types of employees?With regard to the above four issues,this study uses a questionnaire survey of 100 state-owned enterprise employees and 100 private enterprise employees to investigate and carry out empirical research.The empirical results of this paper show that:1.There are significant differences in the job satisfaction of employees in Mongolian state-owned enterprises and private enterprises,and the satisfaction of employees in private enterprises is higher than that of state-owned enterprises.2.Some of the individual characteristics of the employees have an impact on the job satisfaction of the two types of employees.The education level and working time have an impact on the job satisfaction of the two types of employees.The age is only affected by the job satisfaction of the employees of the private enterprises.The gender of business employees has no impact on job satisfaction;3.human resource management factors have a significant impact on the job satisfaction of two types of employees;4.The influence of some human resource management factors on the job satisfaction of the two types of employees is different,which is mainly reflected in the three factors;employee training,performance appraisal and remuneration.Based on this the paper puts forward management inspiration recommendations and a future research prospect.
