In the past quarter century the emergence of China as major forces in the global economy is one of the most significant economic developments. China acted quickly and aggressively to lower trade barriers, and attracted foreign direct investment inflows. Up to now, thousands of international enterprise entered China and employed millions of people.The present paper explores the main factors which affect the process of job selection. By using a survey on students who are facing graduation and professionals who have years of working experience, and analyzing the result of the survey, it shows, compares and analyzes the factors which come from company, from individual, from society and from familial.The purpose of this paper is to examine sources of factors which influent the satisfaction of job in the country and to compare and contrast these facts among different age groups, and also to compare with foreign counterparts. In order to provide enterprises, especially international companies, with some references about recruit, human resource management, and career management procedure. On the other hand, college students who face job-hunting and young professionals who have not a clear career plan yet also can get references from the paper.
