The planning and research of optical transport network(OTN)is an important basic work in the field of communication technology.The results of network planning and design will determine the evolution direction of regional networks and affect the development mode of regional telecommunication services.With the rapid development of information technology,great changes have taken place in the form of telecom services.The new business forms of telecom have put forward new carrying requirements on the transmission network system of operators.The contradiction between the existing transmission network capacity and the service development needs has become prominent.The channel rate of the existing Metro Transmission Network of operators is less than 10 Gbit / s,and the system capacity is mostly 40 × 10 g.However,the new services need to provide more than 10 Gbit / s transmission rate and higher cross capacity OTN plane.The current network convergence layer is the ring type,while the layer below the county level is mostly chain structure.The network security is poor,the service route is single,and the protection ability is weak.However,the new service requires high security and service protection ability of transmission network.In addition,the existing network system also has some problems to be solved,such as aging equipment model,difficult operation and maintenance,poor reliability,no flexible expansion ability.These problems are important factors restricting the development of new business of operators.Based on these,this thesis will carry out the research work from the following aspects: 1.Analyze the requirements and deduce the scale of Metro 100 G OTN system;2.Plan the technical route,system architecture and system configuration of Metro OTN,and obtain system parameters through simulation test;3.Conduct comprehensive test and evaluation on Metro OTN system performance.Based on the market data of a city operator,this thesis uses a linear regression method to calculate the carrying demand of telecommunication service in the futrue three years.According to the results of demand analysis and the current situation of the transport network,the design scheme of Metro 100 G OTN system is determined by comparing and selecting technical schemes.The system structure is divided into two network levels: core and convergence,covering the business convergence points of the whole city,and extending to cover important business development areas.The cross capacity of the system reaches 80 × 100 G,with perfect channel supervision and service protection mechanism.The core layer and convergence layer are ring network architecture.The service channel is configured with double protection mechanism of optical layer switching and electric layer cross switching.According to the deployment of relay optical cable,the system structure gradually evolves to mesh networking and introduces ROADM technology.This topic in the city level operator's metropolitan area after the 100 G OTN system is put into operation,the single machine interface and system performance of the system are comprehensively tested.The test data show that the system meets the technical standards of OTN network.After evaluation,the new system has reached the design expectation,which can meet the needs of telecom new service opening and bearing protection.The overall design idea of the system is in line with the actual development needs of operators,which has high feasibility and application value.
