In recent years,infrared thermal imaging technology has gradually matured in China,and the demand for thermal imaging devices has increased in different fields.Major domestic infrared manufacturers have developed varieties of specifications of infrared detectors and infrared thermal imaging lens.But the infrared thermal imaging module is still in short supply,and there is an urgent need for localized products to replace imported module.Therefore,the design and development of an uncooled infrared thermal imaging module based on domestic detector has become a necessary technical reserve.The main focus of this paper is the hardware design of the uncooled infrared thermal imaging module,which is based on a highly integrated FPGA to realize the control and image processing functions,reducing design complexity and hardware cost.First of all,this paper analyzes three key technologies for designing an uncooled infrared focal plane detector,and further studies various algorithms used in infrared image processing,which provides a theoretical basis for infrared image processing subsequently.The selection of domestic infrared detector and FPGA chip is according to the detector performance index and hardware technical index,and then,according to the electrical characteristics and requirements of the detector,the schematic diagram and PCB design method are discussed respectively,including the detector's power supply,the detector's output signal AD conversion,FPGA control and video coding,and the detector's TEC control.The software implementation is based on Spartan6 on-chip logical resources.According to the hardware circuit,it respectively discusses the configuration and drive timing design of detector,sampling quantization design of analog video ADC,detector working point adjustment method,infrared image processing and terminal display design.Finally,it has debugged and tested the thermal imaging module functions,including the detector's input signal,parameter configuration and working point adjustment and the image processing effect is analyzed through comparison testing.In addition,the imaging effect is compared with that of some foreign products with the same parameters.The domestic thermal imaging module designed in this paper has better imaging effect,lower price and shorter procurement cycle than imported modules.It has realized the goal of localization of uncooled infrared thermal imaging module and got rid of the passive situation of trade.
