At present, the electronic information manufacturing industry in China is the most active industry, and has the fastest technological renewal. Also,it is the leading and strategic high-tech industry with the most vitality and development potential.Since the reform and opening up,China's electronic information manufacturing industry has been developing from an emerging industry to an important pillar industry of the national economy, and its scale ranks first in the world. However, with the continuous development of the economic globalization, the unceasing progress of technology and the intensification of international competition, the electronic information manufacturing industry is facing increasing competitive pressure from all sides, such as the continuous reduction of sales profits, increasing production costs, increasing pressure on low-carbon production, low technological innovation capabilities and so on,making the development of electronic information manufacturing industry enter a bottleneck period. Therefore, the financial performance evaluation of electronic information manufacturing enterprises can not only help managers to find some problems in operation and management, but also can help the electronic information manufacturing enterprises to clarify the future development direction and improve the competitiveness in the market. This paper has adopted the method of factor analysis,DEA and Tobit model to evaluate the financial performance of listed companies in the electronic information manufacturing industry.First, this paper uses factor analysis method to analyze all the input and output indicators, and extracts the common factors as the input and output variables in DEA analysis. Then, the financial performance of listed companies is evaluated and analyzed based on the DEA-BCC model. Finally, the Tobit regression model is used to test the influence factors of the financial performance of electronic information manufacturing listed companies, and suggestions for improvement are put forward.Specifically speaking, there are six chapters in this paper: Chapter 1 is the introduction of this paper, which mainly introduces the background, significance, content, and possible innovations of the research;Chapter 2 is an explanation of relevant theoretical concepts,an overview of financial performance methods, and a literature review;Chapter 3 explains the current development status of electronic information manufacturing industry in our country, the construction of the model and the selection of input-output indicators;Chapter 4 is the empirical analysis of this paper;Chapter 5 is the measures to improve the financial performance of listed companies in the electronic information manufacturing industry;Chapter 6 is the summary and prospect of the research. The results show that the overall development of the electronic information manufacturing industry from 2013 to 2018 is good. The development trend, however, does not always tend to rise due to the influence of environmental factors.Enterprise managers need to make continuous optimization and improvement, enhancing the development prospects and improving the financial environment, which will be more conducive to investment decisions for investors.Several suggestions for improvement are given in this paper based on the analysis of the results of the financial performance evaluation model:reasonable allocation of government agencies and precise support;continuing to increase capital investment and expand the scale of investment;increasing investment in scientific research and cultivating innovation ability;strengthening knowledge management and talent training.
