With the development of wireless communication systems,the communication system puts forward further requirements for many performances of antenna,such as increasing frequency band,adjusting frequency band,increasing bandwidth,improving efficiency and gain.However,these requirements highlight the contradiction between size and performance.Therefore,based on the advantages of the substrate integrated waveguide(SIW),this paper designs and verifies the slot antenna and patch antenna based on SIW.The main contents are as follows:Firstly,based on the full mode SIW structure,two rectangular slot antennas are proposed,which can generate single frequency response in X-band and Ku band respectively.On this basis,two rectangular slot antennas are superposed and an L-shaped dual frequency SIW slot antenna is designed.By feeding the gradual microstrip line,the parameter performance is obtained,which provides a broader idea for the design of SIW antenna and ensures the miniaturization of the structure.Secondly,a new half mode SIW three frequency adjustable antenna is proposed to improve the l-slot antenna based on SIW cavity,which improves the freedom of frequency band,and its volume is only half of the traditional rectangular SIW.By etching the cross slot,the electromagnetic energy of the antenna is radiated through different positions of the slot by using the electric field distribution of the main mode and the high-order mode of the cavity,so that three bands are generated,which are located in the S-band and C-band respectively.This method can adjust the frequency band only by changing some specific parameters of the slot,and the maximum adjustment range can reach 900 m,which provides a more flexible choice for the antenna to achieve a given passband response in wireless communication.Thirdly,the SIW cavity mode is used as the feed layer,and a multi-layer SIW dual frequency broadband patch antenna is proposed.In the design process,based on SIW resonator,two high-order modes which are perpendicular to each other and do not interfere with each other are generated.By etching a new type of dumbbell shaped slots(ddsss),the mode is radiated to the upper layer of the patch,so that the electromagnetic energy can be transmitted through the patch to the space,and two passbands located in C band and X band are generated.By adjusting the feed points and the positions of the two matching through holes,the upper and lower layers of the antenna achieve good matching.The antenna has a wide working bandwidth and high gain,and effectively reduces the cross polarization of the antenna.The mainpolarization and radiation efficiency of the antenna are further improved.The paper has 63 graphs,6 tables,and 72 references.
